1. Prerequisites

Always and only use the English language on the Toornament website and within the in game chat.

2. Account
2.1. - Toornament Account:
In order to participate, the player must have a valid account on the Toornament website.

2.2. - Game Account:
In order to participate, the player must have a valid account on the game website and client. The player must ensure the client is up to date with the latest version before checking in for the event.

2.3. - Third Party Visibility:
By attending the event, participants acknowledge the visibility of their game account for third party individuals.

2.4. - Privacy
Toornament collects the information necessary for it to operate the tournament at the time a Participant registers their account, and without limiting Toornament’s rights under its online privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.toornament.com/en_US/privacy-policy

The Tournament Organisers will use such information to contact a participant for matters and events related to the operation of this tournament. Information collected from each participant will be shared with the sponsors of the tournament.

3. Cheats and Bans

3.1. Definition:
Cheating is the creating (or attempting to create) an unfair playing field or gaining an unfair advantage over other participants, Players by any means contrary to the rules of the game in question, any of the rules or the spirit of esports and traditional sporting endeavours. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall include any unauthorised use of any third party tools without the prior consent of the Tournament Organisers.

3.2. Banned Accounts:
The Tournament Organisers reserve the right to bar participants who are banned by the game developer. Players found to be evading a ban on any new accounts will have the account banned permanently for ban evasion.

4. Rule Violation and Punishment

4.1. - Admins
“Admins” are the official representatives of the tournament during the event. The Admins are empowered to represent and protect the league's integrity, tournament rules and are responsible for the players during the event.

If any questions or problems arise during the event, you must engage the Admins directly, none other. If you do engage someone that is not an Admin, and the information given to you is incorrect, or if you wait too long to report a problem even during the live event, you will be responsible for the consequences that occur.

Admins have up to date information on match times, match rules, any potential in game variances. Admins may make decisions that differ from the rulebook to protect the league's integrity. Any issue that impacts player gameplay must be reported to an Admin immediately.

4.2. - Sanction:
Issues during a match from the beginning of the match to the end must be reported right away and can not be reported after the fact as this constitutes acceptance of the issue by the opposing team. A player may be cautioned and receive a ban if he commits any of the following offences:
- Refuses to follow Admin instructions.
- Shows dissent by word or action towards other players.
- Uses insulting language and/or gestures towards other players.
- Is guilty of unsporting behaviour in a match.
- Griefing/Trolling
- Ghosting
- Spamming
- Misleading Admins

4.3. - Match Protests:
Protests of any kind have to be reported to the Admin via the CALL ADMIN button on the Toornament matchroom. The admin will investigate the incident and respond with conclusions to you directly.

4.4. - Multiple Events:
If a player or team has joined more than one event running at the same time, the player or team will be disqualified from all the events they have joined.

4.5. - Match Fixing
Match fixing is the arranging or influencing (or attempting to arrange or influence) in advance the outcome of a match, or events within the match, usually for the purpose of making money, often from betting.

Participants are not allowed to accept from, or offer to, any person or entity (whether they are Participants or otherwise) any bribes/gifts/rewards of any nature in relation to seeking to influence the outcome, result of, conduct of, a match or tournament;

Participants are under a strict obligation to immediately report to the event any approach, or any offer of a bribe/gift/reward made to them, or any other participant, related to seeking to influence the outcome, result, or conduct of a match or tournament. Failure to do so will be considered a breach of this rule and will in itself result in sanctions being imposed.

5. Eligibility

5.1. - Age Restriction:
All participants must be 16 years or older.

5.2. - Location-based Restriction
All participants must be physically located in Ireland or Northern Ireland and must have valid ID. They must be able to provide required documentation certifying their residency, otherwise they will not be eligible to advance to the next stage.

5.3. - Game Account Restriction
All participants must be using an account which is in good standing.

6. Other

6.1. - Party/Team names:
Please fill in your team name accordingly. Team Names/Avatars should not contain any offensive or racist content. If you come across a player/team breaking this rule then please submit a ticket with relevant evidence (Screenshot/Recording) so action can be taken against the player/team in question. Team captains ignoring this rule can end up with a ban from the platform.

6.2. - In-game Name/Avatars:
In-game Names/Avatars should not contain any offensive or racist content. If you come across a player breaking this rule then please submit a ticket with relevant evidence to the game support system(Screenshot/Recording) so action can be taken against the player in question.
