1. General

The TBCS administrator has the right to decide outside or even against the rulebook in special cases to guarantee fair play.

1.1 Localization

All matches will be played online in the respective server region. The players are obliged to have an account in the region they participate in.

1.2 Language
The official language of VGL is English. All players should be able to communicate in English.

1.3 The match

A team has 15 minutes time to show up as a whole in the party lobby. The bans and draft picks can start only if the party is full and all players are present. Once a draft is in progress rosters for the current match can not be changed. The captains of each team are responsible to set up the party and to a proper game management

1.3.1 No show
If the opponent team does not show up, this has to be proven with a screenshot and a timestamp (e.g. tab out of the game and make sure the device-time is visible at the top)

1.3.1.1 Possible match-ups
Matchups can only be started with a full party of 3 players on each team. If a team is unable to field a full roster within 10 minutes of scheduled match time then that team forfeits the match.

1.3.2 Tournament mode
The Team Beta Contender Series will be played in a Single-Elimination event as follows;

ROUND 1: BEST OF 1
SEMIFINALS: BEST OF 3
FINALS: BEST OF 5

3RD PLACE MATCH: BEST OF 3

1.3.3 Screenshots to submit
The winning team needs to submit the required screenshots not later than 2 (two) hours after the desired match start time.
1. The Ban & Draft screenshot – where it is visible which team banned which hero + the drafted heroes.
2. The Score screen with GOLD INCOME – where it is visible which team lost or won

1.4 Prematch information
The admins will flip a coin prior to the match and publish within the match information which team is going to ban first and will start as Team A (blue team).
HEADS: TEAM A
TAILS: TEAM B

1.5 Draft Pick – screenshot have to be submitted
The TBCS matches will be played in the “Private Draft” mode.
To do so, each player must own at least eight (8) heroes. Each player is responsible to own the minimum required number of heroes to play in the “Private Draft” mode. Winners see 1.3.3

1.5.1 Cancellation of Ban/Draft
If the draft process is interrupted by any cause, the process will start again. All banned / picked heroes until the point of abruption need to be picked again.
If a team does not properly lock in a ban in time they lose the ability to ban a hero for that match.

1.5.2 The second match(IF APPLIES)

In the second match, teams will get swapped by the party leader and no new coin flip will be done. Now, the procedure is mirrored: the other team has to ban first and so forth.

1.5.3 The third match
If there is a third match coming up (after a 1:1) this match will be draft mode.

1.6 Adding players
As soon as the matchups are public the teams which are going to play have to add all their opponents at least 24hours before the match start.
All North American players have to add (TdogClisis, SeasonedSalt )

1.7 Spectator

Only TBCS observers may spectate a match because it is either live or to observe the match and record footage of the match. All teams and players agree that their match will be streamed live and recorded and uploaded.

1.8 Protest
We are willing to fix problems and questions to live matchups right away but if something is unclear or the match did not start for whatever reason, we will discuss ingame chat on how to move forward.

2.Conduct
All players are asked to behave in a humane way towards other competitors, and to any member of the administration team; treat others as you would like to be treated! If a player is found guilty of misconduct by an administrator, they may receive a warning or a direct punishment depending on the action. Also, teams risk league kicks, bans and expulsions from TBCS competitions
