Hosting/Draft/Pausing/Penalties

The higher seeded team (bracket number closest to zero) will create the game at least 5 minutes before the start of their match. Team managers are allowed in the lobby, but must leave before the match begins. Random players are not permitted in the private lobby for any reason.
For all Games, one Team will be given the opportunity to choose their side (Radiant or Dire) or the Starting Team (First Choice), and then the other Team will be given the choice that remains. Whoever wins the coin toss (chat command /flip) can choose first in the Game 1. In Game 2 the other Team is allowed to choose first. In Game 3 another coin toss will determine, who can choose first.
If a Player quits or disconnects from a Game, the Game must be paused immediately. Such Players will be allowed to try to rejoin the Game. Each Team is allowed to Pause a Game for up to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the match must resume even if a Team is shorthanded. If a Team pauses a Game after their allowed 10 minutes have expired, that Team may Forfeit the Game. If a Pause is required when a Player did not disconnect, a 3 second warning must be given with a coherent reason. The match may not be un-paused until both Teams agree they are ready to resume. A Team will Forfeit the Game if all of their Players quit without an Swiss DC Admin’s permission.
Teams may substitute a player only between each game, but not during.
Any sign of cheating or use of exploits may result in a forfeit of the game, disqualification from the tournament, and a temporary ban from SwissDC Leagues (or Lionsky).
Players who quit or disconnect from a Game before it has ended will be allowed to rejoin the Game. A Team will forfeit the game if all of their players quit or disconnect.
If a server crash occurs, the game can be continued from the last save. The player that hosted the lobby will have the option to load from a save file when they set up the lobby again. If the reload fails, the game will be replayed with the same hero picks and lane movements.

All Matches

Online tournament matches are expected to played at the default match time. For Single Elimination Online Tournaments that take place over the course of one (1) day, which are indicated in the Tournament Details under the Info Tab, times will be established by Online Tournament Staff. For Single Elimination or Double Elimination Tournaments that run over a period of day/weeks, default match times will be listed on the Info Tab. For specialty Tournaments created by the Director of Online Tournaments, default match times will be listed on the Info Tab.
If a match is played before the scheduled time, it will not be considered a warm-up and will count as the official match. No warm-ups, or practices between teams are allowed during Online Tournament play. We recommend that all users use a capture card or digital camera depending on the situation to provide proof.

Bracket Play

After losing a Match, teams will be eliminated from the higher Bracket.
The Bracket default time is listed on the Info Tab for the Tournament. Matches must be played and completed at the default time of each round. Neither team can request to postpone the match. Extensions will not be made whatsoever as these Tournaments are considered lighting/speed rounds and MUST BE PLAYED on time.
If a Match is not played, and neither team submits a Ticket requesting the forfeit win, the Match win will be decided by an SwissDC Support Specialist.
