There are some general rules that the league follows. This includes the structure of the tournament, as well as the matches themselves.

-- LEAGUE STRUCTURE --

- There are two stages in the tournament - the league play and the playoffs.
- The league play consists of all 20 teams as they all compete to place in the playoff spots.
- The league play will consist of a single game round robin, meaning that each team will play each other once (19 games per season).
- After the league play has concluded, the top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs.
- The playoffs will be in a single elimination format and will feature sets of games instead of single games.
- There will also be a third place match for the losers of the semifinals.
- Each stage in the playoffs has a number of sets for a team to advance, and they increase as they advance through the tournament. The format is as follows:
-- The quarterfinals will be a best of 5.
-- The semifinals will be a best of 7.
-- The third place match will be a best of 7.
-- The grand finals will be a best of 7.
- The team with the highest seed over the other team will have home field advantage (i.e. they will play more home games if necessary).

-- MATCH RULES --
- The tournament will be played in the standard Futsal mode.
- Matches will be played on the standard Futsal maps only. This excludes game mode specific maps (such as the Dunk House for Hoops and Core 707 for Dropshot), the Rocket Lab arenas, and the previous versions of the Neo Tokyo (Tokyo Underpass) and Starbase ARC (ARCtagon) maps.
- However, this does not exclude any of the seasonal specific maps, such as Farmstead. This also includes the Snowy variants of the standard Futsal maps.
- Each team will be allocated a home field, meaning that if they are the home team (i.e. the Blue team), they will play all of their home matches at that specific field. Each of the home fields will be mentioned in the teams' bio.
- The games will feature four bots on each team (4v4), and the bots will be on the highest difficulty (All-Star).
- The only mutator that will be active is civilized Rumble. This will give the bots the ability to do aerials and powerful shots. Civilized Rumble means that powerups that don't directly affect the ball will be excluded, such as the Boot, the Disruptor, and the Swapper.
- The games will be 5 minutes long, and overtime is allowed if there is a tied score by the end of the five minutes.
- Each team will have their own customized colours when they play, based off the colours of their logo.
