TOURNAMENT RULES

Team leaders are required to join the South Asia Tournament Whatsapp group https://chat.whatsapp.com/KNFVM8blk61EEzhXp8RUTV to contact the admins during the tournament.

NOTE: You can ask questions and discuss about tournament on the "tournament-discussion" channel in South Asia Tournament section on the discord server.

1. The tournament takes place in Custom Match> Tourney Mode (5v5)
1.1 The tournament starts on 16/05/2020 at 11 AM(IST) .
1.2 An hour before the tournament starts, i.e. 01/08/2020 at 10 AM IST the check in system starts. If you do not report on the site you will be removed from the tournament. (Press the CHECK-IN button)

2. The game is created by the host, i.e. the team located higher in the ladder.
2.1 The host (see point 2) is required to contact the opponent in the ladder at "tournament-discussion" channel and to give him the lobby number.

3. The tournament is played from the pool of all available characters.
3.1 The games are held on the South Asia server.
3.2 Players must register on Toornament.com and set their names same as they have in the game. This makes it easier to check players later.
3.3 Each team must consist of players who take part in the tournament on their main accounts with the names registered.
3.4 Each team can have one substitute.
3.5 No change of player name or IGN or players except registered substitute is permitted mid-tournament. If found doing so, team will be instantly eliminated from the tourney.
3.6 We support fair play and sportsman spirit. Anyone found cheating, flaming, trolling, abusing (team mates, opponents, or admins / mods) will be instantly eliminated along with the entire team - no questions asked. Please report such incidents on the whatsapp groups to the admins and the matter will be immediately reviewed. Such incidents can be reported upto 30 mins after the match, post which it will not be considered.

4. Failure to comply with points 3 regulations will result in the end of further
struggles in the tournament.

5. Number of matches:
The semi-final played in the Bo3 system. The final played in the Bo5 system. The rest of the matches will be single elimination.

6. The game ends when one of the teams destroys the opponent's core or
gives up.

7. If the team registered for the tournament does not appear at the appointed
time, the win goes to the opponent's account.

8. The number of places available for the tournament is limited.

9. The competition ladder is generated after the registration ends or no later than 15 minutes before its start. Therefore, you will know who will be your first opponent at the end of Check-In (The first opponent may change at the end).

10. The opponent can be given a buffer of up to 10 minutes from scheduled slot. In case of no contact with the opponent after the allowed time, the winner should present a screen from the lobby with the time visible on the device. Then send this proof to the administrator on the "report-issues" channel.

11. In a situation where the match ends earlier and the players know their next opponent, after notifying the administrator at the time, you can play the match earlier than the designated time for the given queue.

12. After each meeting, the tournament administration must be notified of the result, including the screen from the final screen, after checking this, the admin will enter the result in the tables.

13. Some matches will also be streamed. To do this, the lobby must also
have a streamer that will sit on the spot of the observer. You will be notified about which matches will be recorded. There must be no one in the spectator or observer spot unless stated by the administrator for the purposes of streaming.
