- RULES AND FORMAT -
This event is a Duos tournament if you do not sign up with a teammate one will be assigned to you form the pool of players.
The tournament will be played across 5 rounds, where each player tries to build up as many points as possible. We will then drop the lowest score for each player and the remaining 4 will be used to determine a winner.
POINTS:
Victory Royale: 13 Points
2nd - 3rd: 11 Points
4th - 6th: 9 Points
7th - 10th: 7 Points
11th - 15th: 5 Points
16th - 21st: 3 Points
22nd - 28th: 1 Points
KILLS: 1 Point
REPORTING YOUR SCORE:
Players will show their score to one of the Contender eSports staff throughout the event area at the end of their match. This is either the post-game score results screen while still in the match, or the "previous game results" screen.
Scores and placement on the leaderboards through the day will be publicly viewable in the event area. Any player caught trying to play 2 matches in 1 round will be immediately disqualified.
TIEBREAKERS:
Total kills over the day, then average finish placement.
CONTENDER RULES:
Players will be at all times expected to respect Contender eSports Center rules and follow the instructions of staff. Any cheating, harassment or other conduct that violates store policies will be grounds for immediate disqualification and revocation or any awarded prize money. Contender reserves the right to change or alter these rules based on event attendance, time restraints, or any other issue deemed to necessitate a major change. Any changes will be disclosed to players prior to events start.
