The golden rule is have fun.
Try to think of this as a test and chance to play, its not super competitive.
The rules are slightly honor based that people don't cheat (to keep things more simple).

RULES FOR STARTING GANGS
1 - Make a gang. It is recommended you sell some starting gear so you can start with a full gang.
2 - Experienced gangers (except leaders) can be bought only at later stages of the tournament (to be determined). These will start at low experience levels once they are allowed, and will change as the tournament progresses.
2 - Select an easy difficulty operation. In the infamy section, select the Medical Lab and Training Grounds. DO NOT spend any infamy points.
3 - Do one mission of your choosing vs the AI to start. You cannot loot more than 50 credits of enemy ganger's equipment for this game. If no gangs show to fight you, you can select another mission and keep the rewards of both. However, if you don't get an opponent in either game, you can't do a third. Future games will be 'contests' vs the AI, NOT operations.
4 - You are now done. Do no more missions or contest matches. Each week there will be a new opponent listed on our toornament site for you to face for 1 game. There will also be a weekly announcement on discord of which skirmish contest match settings everyone will be using to play. This will be different for the weekly pvp match and the one AI match after each pvp. Weeks should start on mondays, so players should have their pve's done by then.

GAMES SETTINGS
1 - Matches can be found by going to 'skirmish' and then 'contest'. Add an opponent, either your human adversary for pvp or an AI opponent for pve.
2 - Check the weekly details on our discord for settings, such as map, mission type, loot limit, max xp of new gangers to hire, etc. Use the pvp settings for your match vs a human, and pve settings for your match vs the AI. You do your weekly pvp before your pve.
3 - Turn timer for pvp matches should be set to 2 minutes (120 seconds), though if both people agree, it can be left alone.

RULES FOR GAMES
1 - The maximum you are allowed to loot off of downed gangers in pvp (and your first pve before you enter the roster) is up to 50 credits sale value per match (to increase by 25 per PvP match). Fights vs the AI have no limit to what you can loot (except in that pve game before your 1st pvp). Gear found on the map, like loot chests, do not apply to this limit. 'Giving' or dropping gear doesn't increase the amount you are allowed to loot, unless its dropping what you took for something else.
(this will change in later tournaments, it was only kept because some already did it this way)
2 - The use of Slaught and/or Spur are prohibited in pvp games until it they are balanced by the developers. They are allowed for pve games.
3 - The salvage score for each player is the points you put when reporting your match on toornament. This only counts for pvp matches. The highest scoring player is required to report the match, unless someone else already did so accurately.
4 - IMPORTANT!!! After each pvp game, screen shot the game's victory screen (the one showing the hp of gangers, salvage score. Post it in discord in #pc-league-screenshots and label it with your's and your opponent's names. This is the only proof we have of scores in case something goes wrong.

TLDR
- 1 pvp followed by 1 pve each week
- all matches are contests, not exhibitions
- turn timer is 2 minutes, unless no one cares
- salvage score for pvp games determines your score in this tournament
- use of Slaught and/or Spur are prohibited in pvp games, fine for pve
- you can loot all chests and items found on the map, always (but not from gangers)
- you are limited to a certain amount of credits you are allowed to loot from gangers in a pvp game, this starts at 50 and raises by 25 each week
-loot any amount vs the AI (except your pve's before week 2)
- after each pvp post the game's victory screenshot to #pc-league-screenshots on discord, label it with both player's names
