**OVERVIEW**

This Tournament is a 2 versus 2 tournament, meaning each player must have a teammate and when registering notate who they are playing with and an assigned captain for that tournament. The tournament will consist of a minimum of two (2) matches, as this is a double-elimination tournament held on December 4, 2021. Each qualifying match is a single 5-minute match. If the game is tied at the end of 5 minutes, a next point scores overtime match is played.

Each qualifying event is best of one match
Match Time: 5 Minutes
Rounds: 1 only
Top team on the top of the bracket will host and create matches (Designated as the ORANGE team in Rocket League)

**REPORTING**
In order to properly report the match results, teams must let eScouts know of score at the end of each match.
If a dispute occurs during a match, any such dispute will be resolved by the Tournament Administrator, in its sole discretion.

**COMMUNICATION**
Communication is limited. Players should refrain from anything considered inappropriate or risk being removed from the tournament with no refund or reentry.

**PLAYER BEHAVIOR**
Each player must compete in a sportsmanlike manner at all times before, during, and after the Tournament. Behavior or content that falls into any of the following categories is prohibited, and may result in the forfeiting of any prizes that such teams/players may have otherwise received, disqualification from the Tournament, and/or disqualification from future tournaments conducted by Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion display well-mannered behavior throughout the entire duration of the tournament. This includes before, during, and after competitions. Good behavior is expected in all public areas of interaction which include but are not limited to Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and the in-game Rocket League client:

Forfeiting or intentionally losing a match, colluding, and/or cheating.
Abusive, harassing, threatening, stalking, hostile, bullying, attacking others, or espousing violence or hate crimes.
Defamatory, disparaging, offensive, obscene, sexually explicit, vulgar, or profane.
Discriminatory, harassing, or derogatory material or slurs based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or military status.
Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, unlawful, or promoting of unlawful or dangerous actions.
Violations of any intellectual property rights or plagiarism.
Personally identifiable, classified, confidential, or proprietary information.
Spam, junk mail, phishing, spyware, viruses, or other programs that could damage the operation of others’ electronic devices.
Commercial solicitations, advertisements, lobbying, or promotions of particular political candidates, organizations, or views.
If a player is disqualified for any reason, it may result in the forfeiting of any prizes that player/team may have otherwise received and/or disqualification from future tournaments conducted by Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
All player/team names, tags, and clan names must be appropriate, and those with inappropriate ones may be denied registration, disqualified, and/or required to change them in order to participate in the Tournament.
All teams must check-in at least 10 minutes prior to each match. If a team fails to show up for a match they were scheduled for, it may result in the forfeiting of any prizes that team/player may have otherwise received, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Each team must give the other team 10 minutes after the match start time, before reporting a team as a no-show.

GENERAL: All entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, “Releasing Parties”), release, defend and hold harmless the Tournament Entities, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law, admiralty or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have, which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation in the Tournament, acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Tournament as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, or order of any court or other cause not within Sponsor’s control or concerns regarding the safety of any entrant, Sponsor shall have the right to suspend or terminate the Tournament. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, with or without notice, and in Sponsor’s sole discretion. These Official Rules are subject to Sponsor’s interpretation.

Entrants assume all liability for any injury, including death or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Tournament or use or redemption of any prize. This Tournament shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the District of Columbia, U.S.A., without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. Entrants hereby agree that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (collectively, “Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this Tournament shall be resolved, upon the election by entrant or Sponsor, by arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of either the National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by the entrant. IF ARBITRATION IS CHOSEN BY ANY PARTY WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM, NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE THAT CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON THAT CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ENTRANT WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH BELOW, THE ARBITRATOR’S DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING. NOTE THAT OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and entrant alone. Furthermore, claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement, and without waiving either party’s right to appeal such decision, should any portion of this provision be deemed invalid or unenforceable, then the entire provision (other than this sentence) shall not apply. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Tournament, or in the announcement of prizes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) late or misdirected entries; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Tournament, or (iv) the failure of any third party to comply with the instructions and proper administration of this Tournament. By participating in the Tournament, entrants (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Tournament. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Tournament. Sponsor reserves the right to: permanently disqualify from any tournaments it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and terminate the Tournament if it becomes technically corrupted
