Règles
At least one player must be present at the ITU lan event and have a valid ticket.

§1. General

The tournament will be played according to Group Stage + Playoffs tournament procedure.
Each team must choose a team captain who is tasked with keep an eye on the #csgo chat on the Discord server https://discord.gg/nSFXWQ
Each team captain can write in the #csgo chat, mentioning what team they are captain.
They will then be given a discord role which will be mentioned if anything important is posted.

Any rule changes or important communication will also be posted in that channel.

§2. Format

All matches will be played 5 vs 5.

One match consists of 30 rounds, with 15 rounds on each side and 1 knife round in the beginning to choose pick your side.

A map is done when either of the teams wins 16 rounds (if its 15-15 in the group stages it will count as a draw and the team gets 1 point. If a game ends 15-15 in the ladder playoffs there will be overtime MR3 10000$).

Every match up except for the final will be best of 1, while the final which will be decided by best of 3 matches.

§3.1 Map selection

In best of 1:
All maps will be chosen by both teams banning maps until one map is left.


§4. Behavior

We expect that all of the competitors will act professional and have a sportsmanlike behavior at all time. Matches lost on purpose, no-showing a match, illegal use of pause in a match and verbal or another abuse towards an opponent will result in warnings and disqualification from the tournament.

We expect that the participants behave and show understanding and patience towards opponents and teammates as well as admins.



§5. During the match

A knife-round is hold in the first round of the match on each side. During a knife round nothing but knife is allowed (nor HE, Flash, Decoy, Molotov, Smoke).

It is not allowed to boost the bomb up. The bomb must be planted so a single CT-player can defuse the bomb.

It is allowed to boost your players as you want, as long as you don't use bugs for the disadvantage of the other team. If you abuse bugs, there will be a penalty.

It is not allowed to use 'kill' in the console during a match.

§6. Disconnects

If a player disconnects from the server because of technical issues, the match needs to be paused by the team and immediately contacting an admin. If a player gets disconnected in an ongoing round the game will be paused in the next possible time (after round finish). This round will only be played again if the pause has been called before any grenades were used or someone got killed.

The team captain is at all times responsible for pausing the match as well as unpausing the match.

A match is allowed to be paused when either CT or T wins is shown on the screen or in freezetime in the next round.

If the disconnected player is not on the server after five minutes, after which an admin must be contacted and the problem will be solved. In worst case scenario, the match will be played 4 v 5.

If the server crashes within the three first rounds, then the whole map will be reset. Remember to inform an admin.

If the server does not come back up, a new server will be found in cooperation with the admins.



$6.1 Stand-in

Each team may have up to 2 players registered as stand-ins.


§7. Cheats

We do not accept in any way any form of cheats. If a player gets caught cheating, this person will be disqualified for the tournament. Cheat is any form of third-party program, monitor overlays and scripts, including OGC, WH, AIMBOT and Ambient occlusion.

Furthermore, it is forbidden to use any form of script beneficial for the player, except buy-scripts. We recommend not to bind keys such as F1, F2 and F10, if any of these keys are wrongly pressed, the admins will not restart the round.

If the rules above are broken, then the cheating team will lose the match by forfeit.

If a conflict appears before, during or after the match, an admin must be contacted at once so that the problem can be solved. If the conflict involves a complain towards an opponent, an admin or something else see below in §7.1.



§7.1 Complaints

If a team will fill in a complain to the tournament admin, follow this procedure: discuss in the team what exactly the complaint is about, hereafter one of you inform the admin and explain the reason behind the complaint.

When a complaint is given to the admin, let the admin work on the complaint in peace. Else the complaint will not be taken seriously.

After the admins have discussed the complaint, they will investigate the problem in details and conclude an answer. The admins word is final.

Possible penalties:

Loss of rounds

Forfeit of match

Exclude a player

Exclude a team

When a rule is broken, admins can give a player or a team a warning, a warning to a player is equal to a warning to the team.



§8. Servers

All games are being recorded and will be reviewed by the admins if needed.

The servers are running with 128 tick rate, and are hosted LAN.
