REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Matches are 3v3 Dogfights

Loadout Restrictions
TURRET MINES AND ROCKET MINES ARE PROHIBITED - SEEKER MINES ARE ALLOWED

Team roster can consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 players

The teams dogfight KD ratio must fall under the following:
3 Players - Maximum combined dogfight KD Ratio of 6 (Team average of 2) OR
3 Players + 1 Sub - Maximum combined dogfight KD Ratio of 8 (Team average of 2)

Teams will need to be verified by tournament staff with teams required to check in with staff on discord before tournament commences. Teams will need to assemble in a custom match with a staff member to verify their stats.

All participants must be signed up and registered on battlefy.com and have joined the SouthernCrossSquad Discord server

DURATION OF LEAGUE ROUNDS
Each round will begin on Wednesday 12.01 am UTC time and will run to Tuesday 11:59 pm UTC time the following week. First round will commence on May 26th 2021. Matches for each round must be completed and results submitted on Battlefy by the end of each round with screenshots.

Expected commitment of time by players is approximately 60 - 90 minutes per week. Allowing time to enter the lobby, time between matches and playing the three matches of the round.

NOTE - There will be a bye round on the weekend of June 5th and 6th to allow for the Cadet Cup.

Match playing times are flexible arrangements that can be worked out through staff members and team captains, working out a time between them that works during this week. If one can't be arranged staff will place a time for you to play that best suits as many players as possible. However it is strongly encouraged to work out games ahead of time as fixtures for the season will be released in advance to allow forward planning to ease time burdens.

Teams that are unable to attend should give notice to staff and the opposing team captain so the match can be re-scheduled.

Teams have 30 minutes from the appointed time to enter the match lobby or give notice of being unable to attend. If notice is given the match can be re-scheduled or commencement delayed. If the team gives no notice and does not arrive then the round considered abandoned by the non-arriving team and is declared a forfeit of all three matches to the non-arriving team with all 9 points of the round being awarded to the team that is present.

MATCH ADMISSION
Only participating teams may join the match lobby with a league staff member that will join game as a spectator and administer the match. Only 3 team members per team are permitted in lobby as players when the match commences, remaining team members may join the lobby as spectators, a team may switch out a player between matches. Once match proceeds to the hangar/ready room the teams are locked for that match. Official casters appointed to the league may also join the lobby as a spectator. Players may stream their own content if they wish, there is no restriction.

REPORTING OF RESULTS
Team captains are in charge of and are responsible for taking screenshots to verify all points and match info which is to be published to discord. This will be used for recording of results and statistics for player individual awards.


MATCH AND LEAGUE PROCEDURES
NOTE - For avoidance of doubt the terms "match" and a "game" are used interchangeably. They mean the same in regards to these rules.

20 kills game cap
15 minutes per match time limit
3 Matches per round

HOME / AWAY TEAM DETERMINATION AND RIGHTS
- Home team is decided by coin flip carried out in server by bot, winner of the coin flip is the home team:
- Home team to decide which faction to start, faction then alternates on each match.
- Away team to decide which map to play first
- Home team then chooses map second match
- Third match map is random

LEAGUE POINTS SYSTEM
3 points for win by 5 or more kills
2 points for win by less than 5 kills
2 points for each team for points draw
1 point for loss by less than 5 kills
0 points for loss of 5 or more kills
Max 9 points per round

For avoidance of doubt, when the game declares a winner the match is over, the on screen score is then assessed to determine league points.

FORFEITS AND LOADOUT VIOLATIONS
In the event of a forfeit being declared the forfeiting team will receive 0 league points for each match forfeited and the opposing team will receive 3 points.

A team has a right to voluntarily forfeit a match or a round of matches via notification from the team captain.

In the event a loadout violation occurs (rocket and turret mines) an offense will not be registered until a turret or rocket mine is launched by a player onto the battlefield.
When this occurs, the offending team will automatically forfeit the match with the match ceasing immediately.

For clarity - seeker mines ARE ALLOWED.


DURATION AND FINAL LADDER PLACEMENT
League length is 11 Rounds over 12 weeks.

Ties at the end of the season will result in playoff in sudden death matches until winner is declared and/or placement is finalised.


SERVER DISCIPLINE
As tournament participants must have joined SouthernCrossSquad server to participate they are subject to server rules for the tournament. An infraction that results in removal from the server will also result in removal from the tournament.
