OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT OF KINGS ROW RULES
General
1. Tournament owner has final say in all matters. Managers are second in line, and are the admins of the server. If something is of major concern, contact these people first.
2. Tournament rules are subject to change following a consensus agreement from administration.
----------------------------------------------------------
Players
1. Players in the tournament must act in a way that complies with Blizzards TOS. Minor toxicity/banter is allowed, but major toxicity will not be tolerated, and can result in a suspension or ban from the tournament. If major conflict arises, players should contact team managers.
2. To be an eligible player, you must be on PC, and be a player in the NA or EU regions that has less than 3000 SR using the Tournament Scale.

Tournament Scale
• To find your average SR, take your current SR, and your peak SR from the last two seasons of competitive. This number is your average SR. If you climb above 3000 SR you are permitted to stay with your team as long as you don’t pass into Masters (3500) or above.
• The Tournament can make exceptions to this rule based on administrative decisions.
3. You may not play in the tournament if your blizzard account is suspended, and will serve the same suspension in the tournament as your suspension/ban.
----------------------------------------------------------
Teams & The Draft
1. There are 8 teams in the tournament. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players, and a maximum of 12 players on a roster. Players will be selected for teams through a draft. To increase your chances of getting drafted, play in pugs (pick up games).Pugs are usually announced by managers, and are almost nightly. Players can also submit videos of your gameplay so managers can watch over your gameplay.
2. Each team consists of a manager, and has the option to have a captain. Captains are effectively second in command of a team, and can organize pugs, and should be a bridge between the players and the manager.
3. The tournament draft will take place on May 10th, at 8 PM EST. The draft will consist of 10 rounds. The draft will go in snake order (example order of picks, T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T8, T7, T6, T5, T4, T3, T2, T1, etc.)
4. Trades, releases and signings can occur. Trades must not be a multiple player for one deal, as each team must receive an equal number of players coming back the other way. A release must be mutual between team management and player. If there is a disagreement, tournament staff will decide on the action that is taken. Signings may occur after the week four games have been played. This window will close when week 6 games occur.
----------------------------------------------------------
Tournament Format
1. The 8 teams are divided into two divisions of four.
• Division A:
Bench Gang
Crunchy Nuggets
Gigachads
Scrimgods
• Division B:
AKM Bladez
Go Agane
Reddit Lucios
Smilers
2. Each team will play 10 games. Each team will play each other team in their division twice, and every team in the other division once
3. A tournament map pool will be determined through a player vote. There will be two maps for each map type, with one tiebreaker control map being chosen as well. The map pool will remain the same until the playoffs, in which a new selection of maps will be chosen, and teams will be given an additional week between the end of the regular season and playoffs to prep for them.
4. Games will be in the same format as the OWL. There will be four maps, one of each map type, with a potential tiebreaker map being another round of control.
5. Player substitutions may occur in between maps. The game manager must be notified beforehand.
6. A game will be paused If a player has PC or Internet issues, the pause will be made by the game manager, but the team must notify them first.
7. Teams will be given a 10 minute half-time to discuss between the 2nd and 3rd maps and 5 minutes between all other maps
8. A game manager will be determined by league administration, if no managers from the two teams are available, a captain will be the game manager
----------------------------------------------------------
Playoffs
6 teams will qualify for the Tournament playoffs.
The winner of each division will clinch a first round bye. The next 4 best teams overall will qualify for the playoffs. If a tiebreaker scenario emerges, map differential is the first determinant. If the teams record and map differential are the same, head to head record is the second determinant. If the teams head to head record is also the same, a best of 3 tiebreaker control match will decide which team is seeded where.
1. The winner of each division will automatically earn a first round bye in one side of the playoffs bracket. The remaining playoff teams will be determined by overall record.
2. The playoff matches will be a direct bracket, with the first round matchups being determined by overall seeding. The second round matchups will NOT be reseeded.
3. The Overall Finals will be a (maximum) seven map series, as opposed to the normal (maximum) five map series.
4. In all playoff matches, the first map will be chosen by the team with the better record. The following maps will be chosen by the team that most recently lost a map.

New Rulebook Addition: Flexible Scheduling
1. Games will be scheduled by default each Saturday starting May 18th at 8 EST.
2. If a team has a problem Fielding a roster, or just wishes for a general reschedule, the teams management must notify the other manager whose team they're playing against.
3. The reschedule attempt must be mutual between managers, unless a team physically cannot field a 6 man roster for the game. If this occurs, league administration will determine the best new time for both teams to reschedule a game.
4. In effort to keep the season flowing, a reschedule may only occur at a maximum of 3 days before, or a maximum of 3 days after the default day of Saturday.

Sidenote: We don't expect scheduling to be much of a problem, and managers should be conscious of players availabilities when selecting them in the draft.

Rules for players:
Please don't be disrespectful towards other teams, so no shit-talking them in public. It doesn't matter what you do in private calls as long as it's not too extreme, but please refrain from doing so in public chats, calls, etc. You can jokingly shit-talk, but you have to make it look like it’s a obviously a joke.

People tea-bagging and using sprays is fine. It's a game, and having fun by messing with the players in game is fine. Just remember to use common sense.

Being excessively racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. is not tolerated. If you are going to joke about these topics, be extremely careful and use common sense.

If you have any problems with any fellow teammates please tell @Managers or @Yuria uwu and we will try to work it out. Try not to make a scene out of it. If you have to get something off your chest, talk to us. Now, if you jokingly shit-talk your teammates that’s fine, but again, make it a obviously a joke.

(This could be updated or continued, so try not to find loopholes)

Waivers: Basically when you are released from a team you will be put on a waivers list . You will be prevented from being picked up for a week, then after a week, you can be picked up again.
