Teams and Players
-A team should be composed of 6 players; 1 player is for substitution in case there is one player in the team who will be unable to play
-Participating teams can be actual squads in game or not
-A player should only play for one team, or else violating the rule can lead to disqualification of the whole team from the tournament.
- No squad shall have any other players aside from the 6 registered players in any match during the tournament, or else they will be automatically disqualified.
-All members must only use their own game account
-only 5 registered players of the team are allowed to enter the lobby
-only the organizers are allowed to spectate the match
Adding Players
-team captains are responsible for adding the team captain of the opposing team prior to the start of the match
-make sure to have enough space on your friends list
Team Absence
- if the team is not yet in the venue or a team is still incomplete before the match start they will be given a 5-minute grace period
- if a team fails to be complete or present on the venue for the scheduled match after the given grace time they will be automatically disqualified from the tournament
Internet Connection
-internet connection is not provided by the school; teams are encouraged to use cellular data connection or through pocket wifi
Lagging Issues
-Each team will be granted a maximum of 5 game pauses
-if ever a lag occurred during the hero draft that caused a team to be unable to either ban or pick a hero, a remake of the match will be done immediately
Conduct
-this tournament aims to promote sportsmanship by means of E-sports, thus any form of misbehavior or misconduct (e.g.; trash talking, taunting etc..) during the tournament in game or not is strictly prohibited
-a player who keeps on changing sides or staying on spectator’s area in the lobby will be warned for delay of game.
-violators will be penalized as follows:
First offense Php 100.00 fine
Second offense Disqualification from the tournament
Cheating
-SSI mobile legends tournament aims to promote the essence of fairness by means of playing through E-sports thus, cheating is strictly prohibited in this tournament.
-any team proven of cheating will be AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED from the tournament
Matches
-all matches will be in CUSTOM DRAFT PICK MODE
-The tournament structure will be a 16 team single elimination
-Elimination round and quarterfinals will be in Best of 1 matches while the semifinals and finals will be in Best of 3 match
Important Reminders:
-team captains are required to gather their team prior to the match
-Check-in starts at 9:00-10:00am, make sure to be on time and proceed immediately on the venue for team check-in.
-payment for registration fee will also be during check-in period
-Bring your School ID for verification purposes
