Competition Rules
All players must be current students at a college or university, and all teams must be composed of students from only one college or university.

All games except for the final and semi-final matches will be played online; teams must be aware and commit to in person at GSU’s Sports Arena on April 6th, 2019.

The competition will be a single-elimination bracketed tournament.

Players will be seeded by current rank.

Any match may be streamed by GSU.

Players may agree to schedule their games for a different time. The date and time listed is the time by which the game must begin, but it can occur before that. We will strive to give teams as much time as is feasible to complete matches.

Players in pre-semifinals play are responsible for their own setup. If technical difficulties delay the start of a game from it’s scheduled time by more than 15 minutes, a forfeit of the game or the match may be determined at the discretion of the tournament director.

Players in the final and semi-final matches are not responsible for bringing equipment; computers and peripherals will be provided.

Players are forbidden from fixing or colluding together to determine the outcome of any matches. Any teams or players found to have done this, by any means, may be removed from the tournament at the discretion of tournament officials.

Players must compete on an account that is registered with the tournament, to be determined by username. Any player whose username does not match what is registered with the tournament may be removed from the tournament or otherwise disciplined, at the discretion of tournament officials.

These rules may be clarified or changed at any time. Tournament officials will notify players through the email addresses provided at registration, and on the tournament discord.

Players should join the tournament discord channel (https://discord.gg/AQ7BJRS), as announcements will be made there, and it may help in scheduling matches.

Match Rules
Conquest format
Before each match, players will be required to submit four decklists from four different classes – one deck per class. Once the four classes for each players are submitted and revealed, each player will then ban one of their opponent's four classes and play out the best-of-5 with the remaining three.

A deck which has won a game in a particular match cannot be repicked during that match.

The player who wins three games will win the match.

For the Game Background/Competitive Experience portion of registration, put information about the players and the team; how long you've been together, how long players have been playing, favorite characters etc. Background for casters.
