Top Level Gaming Fortnite Friday!
The following document describes the basic rules and format for Top Level Gaming’s Fortnite Friday competitions. All rules and formatting are subject to change based on the number of competitors and community changes.
Code of Conduct
Each player will comply with the following code of conduct. Failure to do so may incur penalties up to and including player disqualification from the session and in the most severe cases, complete team removal from the monthly standings. The following code of conduct must be adhered to by players.
- No Taunting, Racist Comments, or “Trash Talking” to your opponents. This includes any post game posts to Facebook and other social media or anything posted related to Top Level Gaming
- Any sort of verbal or text related harassment extending beyond the game
- No cheating or hacking of any kind. This includes script injectors, third party apps, unapproved ghosting or streaming, and any other sort of hack or exploit that would give a team an advantage “fog of war removal”, “external timers counter”, etc.
- Respect all on site equipment and staff
Please report any misconduct via email with any evidence you may have to Top Level Gaming Tournament officials immediately! Please include the player in question, when the infraction incurred, and what the result of the infraction held. Top Level Gaming will investigate each case individually.

Registration
All players must pay the fee of $10 which consists of $5 plus a $5 here. Registration of all players and payment must take place before the start of the event. This fee is for each Fortnite Friday and not for the entire month of January. Each Fortnite player is NOT obligated to participate in all sessions of Fortnite Friday for the month.

The following is the list of perks you receive for registering for a Fortnite Friday Event
- 4 Hours of Unlimited Fortnite Play! All Games count towards your progress!
- Points Accrued Are Posted at TLG with the current leaderboards and standings
Game Rules
As Fortnite is not structurally sounds yet for tournament formats, we will be playing in TLG Chaos FFA Format. What does this mean?
Starting at 7PM EST on each Friday, players will queue up in solo queues and play Fortnite
Players will play as many games as they possibly can in 4 hours to earn points towards the standings
Once a player dies in a game, if any points were scored, that player will hold up a hand for a tournament organizer or member of TLG staff comes by and records the points
Once the points are scored, the player may immediate requeue for another solo lobby
If no points were scored, a player does not need to wait for a tournament organizer or member of TLG staff to record the result. They may continue play without delay.
Points cannot be scored retroactively. AKA: If you forget to record points, for a match, we cannot and will not go back a match to see the results.
At 11PM EST the tournament organizer and TLG staff will announce stoppage in play. When this happens all Fortnite players must take off their headsets and stand at their stations. TLG staff and tournament organizers will come around and collect points for your current match. You will NOT have the opportunity to earn finishing points once the timer runs out
Players with the top 10 scores will receive points towards the monthly ranking
Other noteworthy rules…
All Fortnite Friday’s must be played on site at Top Level Gaming
There is NO online registration for Fortnite Fridays
Fortnite Friday Fees are per session, not for the entire month
You do NOT have to be at Top Level Gaming at 7PM in order to participate. You may enter Fortnite Fridays at any point during the 4-hour window.
The timer does not stop for anyone or for anything during normal operation. IF for some reason there is an interruption to service, we will stop the clock and wait until the interruption is fixed. If the interruption is beyond our control (Epic game servers go down, loss of power or utilities, acts of god) and the fix will be beyond a reasonable amount of time, the event will be forfeit and all moneys will be returned to participants.
Scoring Points
During your matches you will earn points for the following accomplishments
Get First Place! – 6 Points
Get 2nd or 3rd Place – 4 Points
Get 4th or 5th Place – 2 Point
You will also receive 1 point per kill in a game.
After a game, if you have scored any points, please hold up your hand for a tournament organizer or TLG staff member to record the result. Once the result is recorded you may queue back up for solo queue.
The top 10 Players will receive TLG points for their finish. The player with the most amount of TLG points at the end of the month will be the victor for that month’s Fortnite Fridays! Your total match points of all games will be used as a tie breaker should multiple players earn the same amount of TLG points. The following is the converted rank to TLG points.

You may choose to bring some of your own equipment. The following is approved equipment.
- Keyboard
- Mouse / Mousepad
- Headset
- Speed pads
The following is NOT allowed
- Any External Hard Drives
- Anything that is a USB drive – This does not include Wireless Mouse/Keyboard/Headset dongles
