IEM Season XII: Oakland

12 teams in two round robin groups of six. If a match goes to overtime, the winner is given 2 points and the loser is given 1 point (as opposed to 3 points for the winner and 0 points for the loser in regulation). The winners of each group are placed into the tournament’s semifinals. Second and third placed teams in both groups will advance to the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Quarter-finals and semi-finals will be best-of-three. Grand-final will be best-of-five.
