RGS Valorant Tournament 2024
(Terms and Conditions)
General Guidelines:
• The official organizer of this tournament are the division officers of RGS.
• All concerns about the tournament must be address only by the official organizers of this event.

Team Registration:
• The team must comprise of 5 core members. All members must be official members of RGS.
• The Team Captain of the team or any member will register his team and all the players in the team through online registration in toornament.com. All required information must be provided correctly.
• Each team player must have his official In-game name (IGN) or an alias. (Ex. RGS.Gwapito)
• The team must comply duly with the ongoing official registration online.
• The team will get to know their game schedules, match results, and participants information in the official tournament website public page:

Game Rules and Regulations

Before the Match begins
• All members of the team must be ready 30 minutes before the game officially starts and must be online in-game and in Discord (RGS Server). In Discord, all the players of both teams who are scheduled for a match will be checked by the game officials through open camera.
• The game officials will officially announce the start of the match by inviting the team to join the created lobby once everything is set.
• If the team is not yet complete and the game officially starts, the game official will announce the team forfeited and declare the other team as a winner.

MATCH SETTINGS
Preparation Time
1. Players are free to prepare after their check-in. However, the players must enter the lobby at the agreed match time schedule.
2. The Team Captain will be given a choice to start the match as 5 players or forfeit the match.
3. The player who is late is not allowed to re-join this match series.

Match starting time:
-In the most optimal situation, any problems faced by the players should be solved during the set preparation time. The match should be started at the scheduled time. Match may be delayed if RGS official deem it to be necessary. If the reason for the delay is due to a player's fault, the RGS ESPORTS Committee reserve the right to penalize the player or the team accordingly.

Pick Process
-All the teams will go through the coin toss process to determine their team type either attackers or defenders. The RGS officials will ensure both teams are ready to enter the picking phase after players from both teams have entered the in-game lobby. Once both teams are ready, the facilitator will inform the in-game lobby admin to start the game.

Penalties
A. Failure to follow the schedule time. Teams will be penalized in this order:
5 - minutes Late: Disqualified from the match (Free win to the opponent)
B. Players Misconduct:
1. 1st Warning of Player Misconduct: Team will lose pick priority for the whole tournament/Default loss.
2. 2nd Warning of Player Misconduct: Will be banned for the next game.
3. 3rd Warning of Player Misconduct: Will be banned from the entire match.

The examples of player misconduct:
• Being rude/inappropriate/using vulgar words when dealing with tournaments.
• Submitting false match results.
• Providing no proof of opponents forfeiting their matches.
• Certain issues can be discussed with the Game Officials in case of relevant cases that we may dismiss based on discussion and proof of the said issue
