CCS Mobile Legends Tournament 2024
(Terms and Conditions)
General Guidelines:
• The official organizer of this college event is the CCS faculty with the Responsible Gamers Society E-sports committee.
• All concerns about the tournament must be addressed only by the official organizer and the E-sports committee of this event.

Team Registration:
• The team must comprise of five core members and one reserve player.
• All members must be officially enrolled this second semester (AY 2023-2024) as either BSIT/BSCpE/BSCS/ACT student and official members of the CCS organization, Responsible Gamers Society, since this is one of their privileges as members.
• The team captain or any team member will register his team and all the players on it through online registration at toornament.com. All required information must be provided correctly, or else this will be one of the basis of your disqualification from joining the tournament.
• The team registration will still be approved by the tournament organizer after all the players listed are verified by the E-sports committee.
• Each team player must have an official in-game name (IGN).
• The team must comply duly with the ongoing official registration process online.
• The number of participating teams will be limited due to time constraints for the game schedules.
• The registered teams approved by the tournament organizer and E-sports committee will be the official participating teams, and they will be posted on the official websites:

• The team will register and get to know their game schedules, match results, and participant information on the official tournament website's public page:

Game Rules and Regulations
Before the match begins:
* All members of the team must be ready 10 minutes before the game officially starts and must be online in-game.
* The participating teams must provide their own internet connection during the schedule of their game.
* Only the teams that have been scheduled will compete inside the venue—the ACT Cybertower's third floor demo room or exhibit room—must be present, and they will be inspected by the game officials from the E-sports committee.
* Each player must wear their school ID during the duration of the game. The game officials will confirm each player's identity.
* The game officials will officially announce the start of the match by inviting the team to join the newly created ML lobby once everything is set.
* If the team is not yet complete when the game officially starts, the officials will announce that the team has forfeited and declare the other team the winner of the match.

MATCH SETTINGS
Preparation Time:
1. Players are free to prepare after their check-in. However, the players must enter the ML lobby at the agreed-upon match time.
2. The team captain will be given a choice: start the match with five players or forfeit the match.
3. When a player arrives late, he or she is not permitted to rejoin the match series.
4. To determine which team gets the first pick, a coin toss will be used.
5. Each team is given only one pause per game, which will be used for technical problems.

Match starting time:
* In the most optimal situation, any problems faced by the players should be solved during the set preparation time.
* The match should start at the scheduled time.
* The match may be delayed if the tournament organizers deem it necessary.
* If the reason for the delay is due to a player's fault, the game officials, together with the tournament organizer, reserve the right to penalize the player or the team accordingly.

Pick/Ban Process
* All the teams will go through the coin toss process to determine which team will ban and pick first.
* The tournament organizer will ensure both teams are ready to enter the picking phase after players from both teams have entered the ML in-game lobby.
* Once both teams are ready, the facilitator will inform the in-game lobby admin to start the game.

Game Setting
Map: Tournament Mode (5V5)
Game Type: Draft Pick

Penalties
A. Failure to follow the scheduled time. Teams will be penalized in this order:
5 - minutes Late: Disqualified from the match (Free win to the opponent)
B. Players Misconduct:
1. 1st Warning of Player Misconduct: Team will lose pick priority for the whole tournament/Default loss.
2. 2nd Warning of Player Misconduct: Will be banned for the next game.
3. 3rd Warning of Player Misconduct: Will be banned from the entire match.

The examples of player misconduct:
• Being rude/inappropriate/using vulgar words when dealing with tournaments especially during the in-game.
• Submitting false match results.
• Providing no proof of opponents forfeiting their matches.
• Certain issues can be discussed with the Game Officials in case of relevant cases that we may dismiss based on discussion and proof of the said issue.

The tournament organizer together with the game officials have the final decision to resolve any issues encountered.
