Warrior GMR March Madness - Player Regulations
1. General Warrior GMR Foundation reserves the right to make decisions outside or even against these regulations in special cases to ensure fair play.
1.1. Code of Conduct Participants must behave respectfully towards other players, event staff, and viewers. This includes behavior in-game, chats, and all forms of media. Players are expected to uphold these core values:
Compassion: Treat others as you would wish to be treated.
Integrity: Be honest, committed, and play fair.
Respect: Show respect to all individuals, including teammates and competitors.
Courage: Show courage in competition and in standing up for what is right.
Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form, including but not limited to:
Offensive behavior related to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, age, or religion.
Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).
Disruption of streams or social media.
Posting others’ personal information without consent.
Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
Violations may lead to exclusion from the tournament and forfeiture of any winnings. Severe or repeated violations may result in a ban from future Warrior GMR events.
1.1.1. Insults and Offensive Behaviour Any insults during matches or on official platforms may result in penalties. This includes in-game chat, forums, comments, and direct messages. Severe incidents may lead to stricter penalties including exclusion from the tournament.
1.1.2. Spamming Excessive posting of irrelevant or offensive content is considered spamming and will be penalized according to the severity and frequency.
1.1.3. Public Behaviour Participants must refrain from any behavior that could negatively impact the reputation of the tournament, other players, or the event organizers. Derogatory comments aimed at Warrior GMR, its partners, or products are prohibited.
1.2. Matches and Competitions All matches must be played fairly and according to the rules. Betting on matches in your own competition or participating in matches for which you are already qualified is prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
1.3. Game / Client All external programs not part of the original game are generally prohibited unless specifically allowed by the game-specific regulations for Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League, and Overwatch. Cheating or manipulation of the game client is strictly forbidden.
1.4. Game Coverage Warrior GMR reserves the right to the coverage of matches. Players may arrange their own broadcasts if no official coverage is provided, ensuring that enough slots are available for official clients.
1.5. Language The official language is English. All players should be able to communicate in English.
2. Integrity and Fair Play
2.1. Cheating Any form of cheating is strictly prohibited and will result in penalties including disqualification and possible bans from future tournaments.
2.2. Match-Fixing/Betting Fraud Actions that improperly influence the outcome of a game or match are strictly prohibited and will result in severe penalties including disqualification, forfeiture of prize money, and potential bans.
2.3. Doping The use of performance-enhancing drugs is forbidden. Players with prescriptions must provide proof prior to the tournament.
2.4. Competition Manipulation and Bribery Attempting to manipulate a match or bribing officials is strictly prohibited and will lead to severe penalties.
3. Accounts and Teams
3.1. Player Accounts Players must maintain up-to-date and accurate information on their accounts. Multi-accounts are not allowed and will result in penalties.
3.2. Teams Team names should be unique and respectful. Changing team names to mislead others or frequent changes can lead to penalties.
4. Penalty System Violations of these regulations will lead to penalties, including points, bans, or disqualification, depending on the severity of the offense. Repeated offenses will result in harsher sanctions.
5. Participation in Tournaments Employees of Warrior GMR or its partners are not allowed to participate in prize-winning tournaments or qualifiers without explicit permission.
5.1. Open Participation
In addition to veterans, this event is open to non-veteran military supporters and families. We welcome all who wish to participate and support our gaming and veteran communities. This initiative is aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, celebrating the unity and camaraderie that gaming brings to people from all walks of life.
These regulations are in place to ensure a fair and respectful environment for all participants. Compliance is mandatory and any violations will be dealt with seriously to uphold the integrity of the Warrior GMR March Madness.
