Rules
1. Teams are required to queue up with their full squad in a public lobby in the Battle Royale (BR) mode that corresponds to the tournament's game type.
2. The number of games teams play will vary based on the specific tournament, typically ranging from 5, 7, to 9 games.
3. Teams are allowed to start their final game before the designated tournament time ends and can continue playing until the conclusion of that ongoing game.
4. Teams are strictly prohibited from backing out of games once they've started.
5. There are no restrictions on the classes or characters teams can use in any tournament.
6. Teams must play all tournament games in succession, and no game results can be omitted once the first game has begun, and results are entered.
7. It is mandatory for teams to have cross-play enabled during their tournament matches.
8. Tournaments are open to participants on PC, PlayStation, XBOX, and any other viable gaming platforms.
9. Cheating in any form, including hacks, smurfing, reverse-boosting, or other unauthorized assistance, is strictly prohibited. E – World Championships reserves the right to disqualify teams suspected of cheating, with consequences including forfeiture of registration fees, prize winnings, and a ban.
10. The use of shared or alternate accounts (smurfing) is not allowed. There must be a consistent amount of activity on your account. Any significant disparity between tournament performance and account activity may result in forfeiture of registration fees, prize winnings, and a potential ban.
11. In case of a tie in tournament standings, tie-breakers will be determined by:
- Total team kills across all games.
- Number of wins across the team's games.
- If teams are still tied, prizes for the tied positions will be equally split between teams.
12. A team must consist of registered players for scores to count. Substitutions with eligible alternate players can be made up until the tournament starts. Teams lacking a full roster can continue to play but won't receive special accommodations.
13. Rule Updates: E.W.C. reserves the right to update or modify the rules at any time. Decisions regarding bans, disqualifications, and prize forfeiture are at the sole discretion of E.W.C.
14. Participants are obligated to record their games for game verification data.
15. All servers are allowed; however, any attempt to manipulate lobbies through hardware or software is prohibited. Skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) manipulation is strictly forbidden and will result in bans and forfeiture of fees or winnings.
16. All team scores must be reported correctly, including all relevant information for verification. Results not entered will not be counted. E.W.C. reserves the right to verify all results during and after the tournament.
17. Registering or competing with a banned player will lead to immediate disqualification, potential banning, and forfeiture of registration fees and prizes.
18. Exploiting in-game glitches is prohibited and will result in disqualification. These rules ensure fair play and a competitive yet respectful gaming environment. Violations may lead to serious consequences, so participants are advised to adhere to these guidelines carefully.
