Rules
1 General
1.1 This page contains the comprehensive rules governing gameplay and conduct within Rocket League Cups. Whilst we have endeavored to ensure all rules provide adequate guidance to meet all eventualities, instances may occur where teams feel that further guidance is needed. In such an event, contact a member of the Admin Team.
1.2 All competitors involved in Nvidia cups are expected to know and understand all of the rules. Not knowing that a rule existed is not an excuse for breaking that rule.
1.3 Any rule being broken may lead to disciplinary action. This action will be at the discretion of the Admin(s) involved, and the situation will be taken into account. Punishment may include, but not be limited to, forfeits, replays, penalty points, kicks, temporary and permanent bans.
1.4 Rosters must be submitted to the website before the competition begins. No other substitutes or pick-ups will be permitted once check in starts.
1.5 Matches will consist of one team facing another team.
1.6 We recommend you link your Gamer ID prior to registering, this will assist in the running of the tournament.
1.7 Matches must be played at the times specified on official Nvidia website
1.8 Players participating in the competition must compete under the same Gamer ID throughout.
1.9 Players who compete in the competition must only use one Gamer ID and play for only one team in the competition. For all avoidance of doubt, once you play for one team you can not play for another even if your first team is out.
1.10 Players who leave one team, are not permitted to participate on a different team until the end of the competition i.e. Only one team per competition. Any players found breaking this rule will result in an instant ban from the Nvidia cups and offending teams will face severe punishments. This also includes moving between two squads in the same team.
1.11 Your Gamer ID must match that displayed on your team roster. If you change your Gamer ID, you must send a ticket into the 'Nvidia Helpdesk' so an Admin can update it on the Nvidia site. Any player found to be using more than one Gamer ID to compete in different teams in the league will be permanently removed.
1.12 All teams must have a Representative in the Rocket League Nvidia chatroom for the duration of your participation in the tourney.

2 Competition Guidelines
2.1 The fixture list and set game times will be released before the cup begins.
2.2 The top-seeded team will host a private match.
2.3 It is the responsibility of both teams to ensure contact is made and all players receive Lobby Name and Password.
2.4 A team has a 15 minute grace period to show up with the proper number of eligible players. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit. Also, it is both teams responsibility to check rosters before the fixture is played to make sure that all players are eligible to play.
2.5 Once both teams have started the first match, breaks are not authorized between matches other than the 45 second countdown timer.
2.6 If a player disconnects before the first goal is scored or before the first 30 seconds then the game must be restarted. If disconnection occurs after this period the game must carry on as a 2v3 until the player reconnects. The player has 5 minutes to reconnect in between matches unless a registered substitute is available.
2.7 If a team does not have all 3 players able to play the match they forfeit from the tourney.
2.8 In the event that an entire team disconnects, the team forfeits the current game.
2.9 At least, 1 member of each team should take a Screenshot(s) of each map's result. Screenshots should contain the map score, players on each team, and a time stamp.
2.10 Substitutions are permitted but only in between games. The same players that start a game must play the full game unless rule 2.6 occurs.
