Be sure to visit the GGtoor discord regularly for any ongoing updates about the event: https://discord.gg/GUhyZxFH8Q

All content (Pokemon and Items) may be used, except any new content (Pokemon or items) that are added to the game within 7 days of the event are automatically banned. *******************************

EDIT: WIGGLYTUFF AND CRUSTLE: there is currently a pretty major bug with Wigglytuff and Crustle that makes it so it can unite move and still put its unite back on 90%, so we are banning these Pokemon for this event

********************************

Team rosters must have at least 5 players. An optional 6th player can be added to the roster to substitute if/as needed. Only players on the roster before round 1 starts; you may not add new members or substitutes in any game thereafter, only the players registered on the roster may participate in any game throughout the duration of the event.

Check-in for the event will open TWENTY FOUR(24) HOURS before the event, here on Toornament.com
Check-in for the event will close ONE (1) hour before the event begins.

IF YOU DO NOT CHECK IN BY THE DEADLINE (1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE EVENT) HERE ON TOORNAMENT.COM, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you double-check your time conversion to the local time for your time zone, so you do not miss this deadline of 1 hour before the event!

VERY IMPORTANT: You hould join the #unite-chat channel of this discord at least 30 minutes before the event begins, and you must stay there for the duration of the event to ensure that you do not miss any important instructions from the tournament staff! (Depending on the nature of the messsage, your team could be at risk of being disqualified if you do not listen to an important announcement!)

Each time you are paired against your next opponent, the team captains should reach out to the other team on discord via DM and attempt to arrange joining the match with each other.

The event is primarily aimed to serve NA region players. If a team from another region wants to join, they may still join (if local law allows.) However, the team closest to NA (or EU) would host, and the team from the further region would need to be willing to live with the disadvantage of any higher ping this may cause.

In grand finals, top seed hosts game 1. For subsequent games, the loser of the game hosts the next game.

TARDINESS: If your opponent appears to be non-responsive after 3 minutes, ping them AND the tournament staff via a post in the discord channel, alerting everyone that the opponent appears tardy. This applies both to the first game and the subsequent game(s) of the match. If your opponent does not respond/report in for the match within 5 minutes from the time of the first public ping, ping them AND the tournament staff again, and your opponent will be issued a game loss. (If a Best of 3 Series and their first loss, then repeat this process, and they still do not respond within another 5 minutes they will then be issued a match loss.)

DISCONNECTS: If there is a disconnection during a match game, the disconnected player should rejoin the game as quickly as possible and keep playing the game. The game usually should NOT be restarted (unless in special circumstances adjudicated differently, at the sole discretion of the Tournament Staff. )

Age: To be eligible to participate, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, of greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). Players between the ages of 13 and 17 (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence) must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian (a form will be provided which must be returned in order to complete processing your registration). IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, THE FORM CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://discordapp.com/channels/708790719015551017/761211030927441940/761211331696132116 , PLEASE CONTACT TOURNAMENT STAFF PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO HAVE THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK COMPLETED OR YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.

IF THERE ARE GENERAL CONNECTION PROBLEMS/INTERRUPTIONS OF THE GAME'S SERVERS, THE EVENT MAY BE SUSPENDED AND RESCHEDULED TO COMPLETE ON A FUTURE DATE.

Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.

If you advance to the top 4, we ask that at least one player on the team be prepared to try to screen share the action on discord (capture card, or worst case, even just pointing a cell or camera at the screen and sharing that feed.)
OPTIONAL: If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to performance in a given match.

Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff.

Select matches for this event may be streamed on a designated/one of our Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so-if you do, please add "#GGtoor" to the title and don't forget a time delay so no one can stream snipe you!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)

ALL DECISIONS BY THE TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS EVENT ARE FINAL.
