MUST PLAY AS A CHL FRANCHISE - WHL, OHL OR QMJHL

up to 256 Entries will be placed randomly into 64 Divisions made up of 4 teams each.

A round robin will determine the top 2 of each division and they will move on to Stage 2.

Stage 2 will be a round robin made up of 32 Divisions, still 4 teams per division.

The top 2 of this Round robin will move on to the Playoffs

Stage 3 is a double elimination tournament bracket to crown the winner.

FINAL 4 to be played AT A WHEAT KINGS GAME - More details to follow. Please note that travel fees are not covered and if you are unable to attend you can still compete online.

3 Games guaranteed with round robin formats for the first 2 stages

Games are to be played online with rated rules on NHL 21.

Games will be scheduled for the weekends - Friday thru Sundays - with make up days built into Monday-Thursdays. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but due to the nature of the tournament size not all requests can be made.

All scores are to be entered by BOTH competitors.

We HIGHLY suggest you stream on Twitch or Youtube! That way we can broadcast your highlights! Or take a photo of the screen at the end of the game just in case of a dispute of score.

All considerations will be made for game times being adjusted but If you cannot make your gametime, it will be considered a forfeit.

The tournament stages may be altered before the start of the tournament if registration max numbers are not filled.

Player Conduct

-Participants may be disqualified and dismissed for any of the the following infractions, note that this list is not exclusive:

-Violating any federal, provincial/ territorial, or local law, rule or regulation, or any of these Tournament Official Rules, as determined by the Tournament Organizer in its sole discretion.

-Using any software or program that damages, interferes with or disrupts any service(s) or another’s computer or property.

-Interfering with or disrupting another Player’s use of any service(s).

-Use of another person’s account.

-Attempting to gain an unfair competitive advantage inconsistent with standard NHL 21 game play.

-Harassing, threatening, bullying, embarrassing, spamming or doing anything else to another Player that is unwanted, such as repeatedly sending unwanted messages or making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, or any other protected characteristic, etc.

-Acting in a manner that antagonizes community standards or reflects unfavorably upon Tournament Organizer.

-Match fixing, match dodging, or engaging in any behavior that otherwise constitutes cheating or disrupts the integrity of the Tournament.

-Exploiting any bug or glitch in the NHL 21 game play or software.

Any other conduct deemed inappropriate within the sole discretion of the Tournament Organizer.

What do I have to do once I’m registered?
The tournament organizers will contact you after the close date with your first round match-up and date.

All dates and times are in Central Standard Time

How are the teams being used determined?
All participants will choose from a CHL franchise, using home and away jerseys as indicated by the tournament organizers.
