Rules
****Information*****

*All matches will follow the CWL in-game ruleset as defined here: https://pastebin.com/aQPQtcy1

*Double Elimination Best of 3 series: After losing a match-up, the losing team will be eliminated from the top bracket and sent to the lower bracket for their 2nd match-up.

*Grand Finals will be a Best of 5 series.

*****CHECK IN*****

ALL team representatives MUST have their team CHECKED-IN their team BY 10AM EST /1AM PST in the #CHECK-IN channel of our discord server.

*****TEAM CONTACT INFO*****

All participating teams MUST have a Team Representative assigned to them. Head to the #Team-Representatives Channel in our discord to copy,paste,fill&post the mandatory Team.Rep Form.(https://discord.gg/AeggUWN)

These representatives are asked to be ONLINE and AVAILABLE for at least 30 minutes prior to tournament start period(Tournament Start Period: Saturday Dec 2nd 10am PST) and also remain ONLINE and AVAILABLE during the whole process of the tournament. They will be our Clash Network Staff's main source of contact with your team.

*****DISPUTES*****

All disputes must be made in the appropriate #Disputes channel of our discord server. The Clash Network Team highly recommends recording or streaming your matches in order to provide valid evidence if disputes were to occur.

*****STREAMERS*****

*All Tournament Streamers MUST run a MINIMUM of 2Minute delay on their stream

*****CLASH NETWORK ADMINS*****

*Clash Network Administrators are allowed to compete in this tournament. In the event that the dispute is against a participating member/or team of the Clash Network Administrators, He/she shall have no say in the disputes resolution due to possible conflict of interest.


*****MATCH START TIME*****

All round one (1) matches have the same default start time(10:15AM PST / 1:15PM EST). After round one (1), all Matches have a unique default start time that is determined by the completion of both rivals Score Submission(All Score Submissions must be done in the #Score-Submission channel of our discord). Matches must be started by their default start time and played until completion. CN Admins reserve the rights to postpone a match.

*****SCORE REPORT / SUBMISSION*****

Teams must report their match score accurately in the #Score-Submission channel of our discord. A score report form will be available.

Score must be submitted within 10 minutes of the match-up completion. Failure to report the match results on time or respond to any messages that you receive from a tournament official may result in your team receiving the loss. (Providing scoreboard proof is recommended)


*****DOUBLE FORFEIT*****

If a match is not played and neither team contacting a admin on forfeit win/loss both teams forfeit a game/match, the game/match win will be awarded to the higher seeded team.

*****DELAYS*****

Teams may not delay the start of a match beyond its scheduled start time, without the approval of a tournament official.

*****DISCONNECTIONS*****

If a player disconnects within the first thirty (30) seconds and/or before the first kill, the game should be ended. All players MUST leave the match to end the game.

If a player disconnects after the first thirty seconds (30) and/or the first kill, the map must be continued and the missing player should rejoin the game asap. If the team with the missing player disregards this rule and chooses to leave the match after the first thirty seconds (30) and/or the first kill, this will result in a forfeit of the round/game in question. The CN Admins reserves the rights to make the final decision in any disconnect situations.

*****GLITCHING*****

Players who move their character outside of the normal boundaries of a map may forfeit the game. Moving outside of the normal boundaries of a map includes but is not limited to part of the character’s body passing through what should be a non-permeable surface or object, and moving into any area from which your character registers shots on an opponent who is not able to register shots on your character.

*****NO SHOWS*****

All no shows must be verified by a tournament official. The No Show grace period time is 15 minutes after the match's original start time. For example, if a match is scheduled for 10:15 AM, the no show time for this match would be 10:30 AM.

*****CHEATING*****

Breaking any rule and any form of cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a forfeit of a game, match, or ban. Cheating, glitching, and abusing in-game mechanics accusations must be verified by a tournament official. Submit all dispute with valid evidence in the #Disputes channel of our Discord.

In game hacks, and/or mods will result in the immediate disqualification of that team and banned from CN Leagues/Tournaments and Discord PUGs
The Clash Network Admins reserves the right to deem any evidence as insufficient.

*****Behavior*****

Banter is permitted within common sense limits. Punishable unsportsmanlike behavior includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language. For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

The Clash Network reserves the right to disqualify any player or team due to unsportsmanlike behavior.

*****RESTRICTED ITEMS*****

Use of any restricted item(s) that affects gameplay may result in a forfeit of the game or round.

*****WARNINGS*****
Tournament Officials may issue a Warning for infractions including, but not limited to, the use of profane words or phrases, discussion of controversial religious topics, threats/implied violence, lack of punctuality, and failure to respect and follow tournament staff instructions.

All warnings and penalties are given to the team, not the individual player. Teams may also be warned or incur a penalty for repeated warnings in regards to the same rule.

Depending on the severity of the action or conduct by a player, multiple warnings may be handed out for a single infraction, up to and including bypassing warnings and resulting in an immediate penalty.

*****CONNECTION ISSUES*****
If a Player's or host's connection to the server becomes unreasonable during a Game, the Game must still be played unless both teams agree to re-match(provide valid evidence in the event of a dispute)
