The eight (8) teams will be comprised of four (4) invited squads and four (4) qualified squads from the CWL Dallas Open, scheduled to occur December 8th to 10th in Dallas, Texas. If a team who has been invited finishes in the top four (4) of CWL Dallas, then the next team in the CWL Dallas Open final rankings will obtain the qualification spot. If there is a tie between two teams at the CWL Dallas Open, the team with the higher amount of CWL Pro Points will qualify for the Northern Arena Showdown.
The teams will play in a double-elimination bracket in best of five (5) series. Each series will be comprised of three different game modes.
