Tournament Rules
Knockout Rounds
All players must use the same kart (Standard Kite), wheels (Monster) and kite (Super Glider). Participants can select their preferred character for each round of the competition.
A maximum of 32 players will take part in a knockout competition(1 race):
• Round 1 - 32 players – Track – Mushroom Cup - Mario Kart Stadium
• Round 2 - 16 players – Track – Special Cup – Cloudtop Cruise
• Round 3 - 8 players – Track – Shell Cup – Moo Moo Meadows
• Final Round 4 - 4 players – Track – Triforce Cup – Rainbow Road
Final Round
Final winners from Round 4 will playoff for:
• 1st Place – Winner from Round 4
• 2nd Place – 2nd Winner from Round 4
• 3rd Place and 4th Place – Will playoff to claim place.
Elimination Process
Each 1st Place overall winner from each competition round will proceed to the next round , the second participant will be eliminated from the competition.
Game Format
The Mario Kart 8 competition will be run using the 100cc Kart option.
Errors or Malfunctions
In the case of equipment malfunction the affected match will be replayed.
