Rules
1)
Tournament: Grunt League is meant for less experienced competitive players, hence most players from regular Hogs of War League will be banned.

2)
Format: All players will go through a Group stage composed of 3 groups of 5. The admin team will schedule everyone one match per week (Monday to Sunday), the players can then agree themselves on an exact date and time to play, provided there is a third person as a Parsec host to hold their game. If a match can't be played in the scheduled week, it'll be counted as a forfeit.
Six players will advance to playoffs, two from each group. The playoffs bracket will be determined by each one's placement and points.

3)
Match rules:
In-game points don't matter. Last pig standing is what determines the winner of a game.
Each match will be a best of 3 games/sets.
-In game-1, the player who moves first is random.
-In game-2, moving order will have to be opposite of game-1.
-In game-3, it will be random once more.
Turn time: 45 seconds.
Pigs: 5 per team.
Health: Double.
Wall-climbing using the edges of the map is NOT allowed.

4)
Class rules:
Paratroopers and Sappers are limited to 2 per lineup.
Grenadiers and Medics are limited to 1 per lineup.
Additionally, Medics can heal an ally using Healing Hands only once per turn.

5)
Timing:
We're set to start with Week-1 on Monday, April 4th.
Group stage will last 5 weeks. Each player will play 4 matches, and "rest" in one random week.
Playoffs will be live-streamed on YouTube, and their exact date will be determined after the end of Group Stage.

6)
Group stage rules:
A. Winning a match awards 3 points. Losing one awards no point. A draw awards 1 point to each player.
B. If a single game ends in a tie, both players are awarded one "set". The match ends in a draw when the score is tied after three games.
C. In case of ties on the group stage ladder, we will decide who is ahead by consulting these stats in the following order:
-Head-to-head matches.*
-Higher set difference.
-Most games/sets won.
-Pig difference (from every single game).
-A best-of-one tiebreaker match.

*Note: head-to-head means considering only matches between players directly involved in a tie. For example: If Player A is tied with Player B, it means that whoever won the match between A and B will be ahead
