Arena Community Tournament Details
Rules:

1. Everyone will draft an Arena deck based on the guidelines of the tournament. Due to some of the limitations of the current state of Hand of the Gods, decks will unfortunately be slightly limited in terms of value. We hope this will change in the future. The current rules for drafting a deck in Arena are as followed:

- You may not draft more than 2 of any one card, or more than one of any one Legendary card.
- (This is so that you can build this deck in your normal deckbuilder. This is one of the things we hope to see changed in the future so that we can play with true Arena decks, but it will have to do for now.)

- You must own all of the cards you draft for your deck by tournament start.
- (This is another unfortunate limitation of not having a sandbox system yet. Since we have to do custom matches with built decks, you must be able to build your deck.)

- If you draft a deck that does not follow either of the two above guidelines, ---------.

- You must draft your deck the morning of the tournament (further instructions will be given soon). You must bring the deck that you build in the time frame given by the admins.

- Once you have drafted your deck, you must submit your deck to the admins via Private Message. You must confirm in this submission that you drafted this deck the morning of the tournament, and not at any other time. The decks will be displayed at the start of the tournament and throughout so that players are forced to remain honest. You may not change any cards in your list at any time in the tournament. Players found changing cards in their deck will be disqualified and may be banned from future tournaments.

2. The tournament will be a Double Elim Best-of-3 setup, with Best-of-5 played in the Winner's, Loser's, and Grand Finals. (THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, BUT THIS IS THE CURRENT THOUGHT PROCESS). Grand Finals can be up to two sets. Seeding will be randomized for this tournament.

3. Registration for the tournament will be done on the Toornament page for the tournament. That page can be found here: https://www.toornament.com/tournaments/524754970627235840/registration/ . You can register from now until the end of July 7th EDT.

4. The tournament will take place on July 8th, 2017. Check-ins will open at 8:30am EDT, and close at 10:00am EDT. THIS IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL WEEKLY TIMES, MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE. Any player not checked in by 10:00am EDT will not be allowed to participate. Once checked in, all players must join the General Voice Chat for a quick rules catch-up.

5. Drafts start at approximately 10:15am EDT. They should be done no later than 10:45am EDT. Submit your decklist to the admins ASAP so they can get them out to the participants.

6. This tournament will be streamed. More on that to follow once details are finalized.

7. All competing players will be required in Discord while they play.

8. Disconnect Rules: If a player disconnects before both players have completed their first turn, the game will be remade. If the same player disconnects a second time, the victory will be awarded to their opponent. If a players first disconnect occurs before both players have completed their third turn, the outcome of the match is up to administrator discretion. Any player found abusing this rule will disqualified.

9. Players are to report any known game-breaking bugs before the start of the tournament. Any player found intentionally abusing bugs will be disqualified and banned from future competitions.

10. All players must follow all rules set by the administrators.

11. All rules may be changed if necessary.
