Tournament Rules
Last Updated: 11/03/2021

1. This tournament will be Sniper Only. Each player will get 1 grenade.

2. Volute will be required for all tournament participants. Information for Volute can be found on their website at www.volute.io or on our Volute Information page.

3. Team captains will be responsible for maintaining order in their line-up. Captains of both teams can use admin permissions to mute an opposing player (with the exception of the captain) when said player is acting offensively or mockingly at another player or when he/she abuses audio commands (taunts) on the game. Ideally, a screenshot of the infraction should be taken to justify the decision. Players who constantly repeat these aggressions will be penalized with a suspension of 1 to 3 scrims, depending on the severity of the infraction.

4. The teams will be made up of 6 players. Volute IDs must be submitted at the time of registration.

5. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players to start the match. If a team does not have enough players, they will forfeit the match.

6. Teams will play on one of the MOHAA Tournament Servers. Each team captain will have access to Rcon for the match.

7. Each team must be respectful of all the participants in the match. Inappropriate behavior must be screenshotted and submitted to the tournament staff. Inappropriate behavior may lead to suspension from the tournament.

8. The winner of the match will receive 3 points and the loser will receive 0. In cases of a tie, each team will receive 1 point.

9. Server taunts will be disabled for the match.

10. Each team will select 5 maps to play from the List of Approved Maps. One map will be designated as their "home" map, which will be played when this team plays as the home team.

11. Each team will play each other twice, once as the home team and once as the away team. Following these matches will be a single elimination bracket.

12. The home team will select the maps for that particular match. One from their list of maps, and one from the away team's list of maps.

13. Teams will play 2 scrims per week. On Sundays, each clan will be assigned the scrims that they must play during the following week and they're responsible of coordinating with the other team the date and time in which the scrim will take place, with the only restriction of not exceeding 7 calendar days (Maximum limit would be Sunday at 23:59). If an agreement is not reached between the two, the scrim will be held either Wednesday or Sunday, at regular hours (10:00 pm CT). The day will be chosen by decision of a delegate from another clan, selected randomly.

14. Teams will have 15 minutes to get their team in the server. If a team does not have at least 4 players by before the 15 minute mark, they will forfeit the match. After the 15-minutes tolerance, teams can keep adding members until reaching the 6-players limit with one exception (rule 15).

15. No team should have 2 players above the other one when starting the scrim. For example: If team A only has 4 players available but team B has 6, team B must begin the scrim with 5 players until team A's 5th player joins the game. It's only then that team B will be able to use their 6th player.

16. Team Rosters with Volute IDs will be provided on the tournament website.

17. After the match is completed, the team captains will be responsible for reporting the match results. Match Results can be posted to the Match Reports Channel on our Discord server, or emailed to [email protected].

21. If Team 1 wins Map 1, and Team 2 wins Map 2, the team with the most rounds won will be winner of the match.

22. The deadline for registration is September 25th, 2021. The tournament will start on October 4th, 2021.

23. Teams with less than 8 registered players will be able to complete their 8-players list in any moment throughout the tournament. (Effective 10/23/21)

24. Between weeks 5 and 6, players will be able to switch 2 players in their rosters as long as the incoming reinforcements haven't played for another team in the current edition of the tournament. They will also be able to switch 2 maps from their list of 5. (Effective 10/23/21)

25. Players that are inactive for a certain time will no longer be moved to spec. AFKs will now remain inside the game until they get killed by a rival or until time runs out. (Effective 10/27/21)
