Tak Blitz Open 2019

- The format is round robin (9 rounds). Games are scored as 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. Tiebreaks are Sonneborn-Berger, then direct encounter.

- Each match is a single 6x6 game with a time control of 3 minutes + 5 seconds per move. The player who's name appears first has white. Colors are determined using the Vega chess program. Initial rankings are by rating as described below.

- There is a komi of 2. This means that if the game ends without either player forming a road then 2 is added to black's flat count to determine the result.

- Each round will start at the time listed here or 5 minutes after the end of the previous round. All times PDT.
Round 1 -- 9:00 am
Round 2 -- 9:20 am
Round 3 -- 9:40 am

Round 4 -- 10:10 am
Round 5 -- 10:30 am
Round 6 -- 10:50 am

Round 7 -- 11:20 am
Round 8 -- 11:30 am
Round 9 -- 11:40 am

- The ratings used for the initial rankings and prize qualification are calculated using a modified version of NohatCoder's algorithm. The changes are:
-- Only games between humans are considered.
-- There is no penalty for inactivity.
