Rules
I. Registration
a. Players must register through the given Toornament link.
b. Players must fill up all the boxes required for their Toornament registration. An incomplete registration will be declined by the staff. You may register again if your registration has been declined.
c. Should a site-banned player create an alternate PSN ID and have a non-site banned player register and claim the PSN ID as their own, the non-site banned player will be immediately disqualified and will be punished by the CrashTeamRanking staff.
d. Players must play with the PSN ID they registered with for the tournament. If a player needs their ID changed, they should notify organizers in advance.
e. If a player is found to be using an alternate account, they will be punished by CrashTeamRanking staff and immediately disqualified from the tournament.
f. Players banned from CrashTeamRanking are forbidden from registering.
g. If you wish to cancel your registration, please cancel it directly from the Toornament website or message a member of CrashTeamRanking.

II. General
a. Players who sign up for the FFA agree to the rules and the final decisions of the FFA organizers.
b. Free choice of tracks, vehicles, characters, and controllers.
c. Each round prior to finals consists of 6 races. Finals will be 12 races. Each race consists of 3 laps.
d. The host must select the races given to him by the tournament’s staff in the correct order. CPU must be disabled by the host.
e. Any mistake made by the host will automatically cancel the race. The host will also receive a 10 points penalty for every mistake he made, starting from the second one.
f. Players may not cooperate with other players in the tournament in order to gain an advantage. Examples of this include voice communication, teaming in-game, and anything else that could give players an advantage.
g. Players that are found to be teaming will be immediately disqualified and will receive a punishment to be determined by CrashTeamRanking staff.
h. Players found with game-breaking lag will be disqualified, and staff will be alerted. (Example: constant warping, causing room to have massive lag, etc)
i. Players flagged due to lag will not be allowed to participate.
j. Players must not use any form of hacking or other exploitations.
k. Should a player hack, the host is to immediately close the room, remove the offender(s), and re-open the room. The race will not count and the player will be disqualified and banned from crashteamranking.com.

III. Scoring
a. For each race, points will be attributed by the tournament’s staff this way:
First: 10 pts
Second: 8 pts
Third: 6 pts
Fourth: 5 pts
Fifth: 4 pts
Sixth: 3 pts
Seventh: 2 pts
Eighth: 1 pt
b. A player’s total score will be the total points they scored in 6 races for the preliminary rounds. (12 races for finals)
c. Players who disconnect will receive +1 point per race missed.

IV. Groups
a. Groups prior to the finals are selected based on RNG as groups will be shuffled after each round. Players from the same team may be moved to separate rooms in order to avoid teaming.

V. Room
a. Players must check-in using the given check-in link at the earliest 30 minutes before the starting time, and at the latest 5 minutes after the starting time. Players who don’t check-in will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
b. The host must add all players 5 minutes before the round’s starting time.
c. Players must add the host by the round’s posted starting time.
d. In each round, players have 10 minutes to join the room after the start time. (For example, 2:10 EDT if the start time is 2:00)
e. The host must open the room at the time posted by the organizers.
f. If a player disconnects during a race, the host must wait 5 minutes before starting the next race.
g. Failure to join the room within the allotted time will result in an automatic disqualification.
h. If a host is found to be breaking hosting rules, they will be banned from hosting future tournaments.

VI. Results
a. Hosts are responsible for taking screenshots of the room’s races (all of them) results and posting them on the tournament thread.
b. Hosts who do not take pictures will not be allowed to host future tournaments.
c. When posting results make sure to clearly mark what room you were in, show who is proceeding to the next round, and post every player’s PSN ID next to their name.
d. The top 4 scoring players in each room will advance to the next round.
e. In the case that a player advances from their room but is unable to play any longer, the next highest placing player in their room will replace them.
