Inter-MRSM Mobile Legends
By registering for the tournament, all players declare that they understand the details of this document and agree to follow all of the rules, terms and conditions listed here. The organizer reserves the right to amend any of the following rules, terms and conditions without prior notice and player consent.
1.0 Tournament Specific Terms and Conditions
1.1. General
• Teams must have a minimum of 5 registered players.
• Registration opens on the 14th of April and closes on the 28th of May or when all slots are filled and confirmed with payment, whichever happens first.
• Registration for each team is only confirmed after we receive your bank-in receipt and check that we have received the registration fee of RM 30.
1.2 . Eligibility/ Roster
• Slots for the tournament are limited to 32 teams per qualifier and are strictly allocated based on which team makes the payment and sends the payment receipt first.
• This tournament is open for MRSM Students only.
• Any roster changes must be communicated to the admin 3 days prior to the qualifier. Any request made after 3 days may be declined by the organiser.
2.0 Tournament Schedule & Rules
2.1. Tournament Formats
2.1.1 Playoffs
• All participating team will be randomly seeded into 8 groups of 4. The team will play a one round, Round Robin.
• Points will be tabulated, the top 2 teams of each group will enter the next round.
2.1.2 Finals
• Round start with 32 teams and will be played by single elimination. Best of 2 will proceed.
2.2 Match Settings
• All games are to be played with the latest version of the game. Any updates must be installed before the tournament.
• The tournament will use 5v5 Draft Mode.
• First pick will be determined by first team name in match schedule.
• Three bans per teams.
• Use of newly released heroes, heroes with recent balance updates and those with known bugs may be temporarily banned.
2.3 Tournament Schedule
• All official tournament schedules will be posed in the official website and official communication channels.
• If one team is not ready at designated time, their opponent will be granted a default win by contacting an admin and having him check the lobby.
• If both teams agree, they can delay for a maximum of 10 minutes. However, after 10 minutes, whoever has the most players in their team will be granted a default win. Delay in games MUST BE notified to an admin.
• In order to keep the tournament on schedule, teams may not wait for more than 30 minutes.
2.4 Forfeits & Disqualification
2.4.1 Disqualification
• All means of hacking, cheating, exploiting including scripts, outside communication, bug exploitation and hack are prohibited trough out the tournament.
• If any of the above rules, regulations, terms and/or conditions is broken/not met, Tournament admins may apply penalties according to their judgment and discretion.
2.4.2 Forfeits
• Players are required to notify tournament admins if they decide to forfeit their match. Forfeiting matches may be subjected to penalties by the organiser.
3.0 Miscellaneous
• The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Event or the game submission process, the operation of this Event. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person who it reasonably suspects has violated or infringed any of these general terms and conditions and the Organizer reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this online.
• Admins may overrule all the rules based on the situation. Admin decisions are final.
4.0 Communication
• All official announcements and tournament coordination will be done via WhatsApp. Please provide a valid phone number with WhatsApp for communication with the team caption or team members upon registration. Please follow the instructions given.
• In the case that the admins are not able to contact the team before the “check-in” time. The team will be disqualified from the tournament.
