Rules
Tournament structure:
Week 1: Top 8
• Teams will be randomly seeded
• Teams will play a best of 5 (BO5) with 3 map wins winning the set
• Maps will be played Control -> Assault -> Escort -> Hybrid -> Control.
• Map banning will be used to determine the maps played.
• On the first map (control) the team listed first as shown on the match page gets first ban.
• On subsequent maps, the loser of the previous map gets first ban.
• In the event of a draw, the team which did not get first ban in the drawn map will get first ban on the next game mode.
• Each team get 1 character ban each per map (which apply to both teams), with bans resetting after each map.
• The team that got first map ban also gets first hero ban.
• Both teams cannot ban heroes of the same role (dps, tank or support).
• The winning 4 teams will move on to the next stage.
Week 2: Top 4
• The top 4 teams from the previous stage will play in this stage.
• Matches will be of the same format as the previous stage.
• All 4 teams will play in the next stage.
Week 3: Finals
• All 4 remaining teams will play in this stage.
• A match for 3rd place will be played with the same BO5 format.
• The Grand Finals will be a BO7 with an additional Assault and Escort map being played should they be required.
Custom Game Settings:
• Preset: Competitive
• Disable Kill Cam: On
• Disable Skins: On
• Pause On Player
• Disconnect: On
• Heroes: banned heroes off for both teams
Pauses:
• 20 minutes of total pause time per team over the course of a full 4 game match.
• Abusing pause time or pausing without an obvious reason can lead to direct team disqualification.
• If a team runs out of pause time before an issue is resolved, they must continue as-is or forfeit the match.
• Teams must be ready in-lobby up to 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.
• Should an opponent fail to attend, screenshots of the lobby must be sent to an admin with the in-game clock turned on and a victory will be awarded
