* All warbands start at rank 5
* Players play 1 PvE before the tournament starts, and one PvE in between each PvP, with a bonus PvE after each of the 4 cycles (a cycle is 4 PvP games), for a total of 16 PvP and 21 PvE missions.
* Players can play any PvE mission except story missions
* The leader of each warband can bring as many consumables as they want, no other character can bring, use or loot consumables.
* Exhibition matches
* 90 second turn timer
* 1 backtrack
* Veto system to pick map and deployment. Player 1 picks a map from noble's quarter 1-4 or merchant's quarter 1-4. Player 1 then vetoes 5 deployments on the Deployment card below. Player 2 pick one of the 5 remaining deployments. Player 1 is the player first listed in a match.
* Players pick whatever objective they want to play.
* Take a screenshot of what objective both players are playing. After a game take a screenshot of the result, report the result and what objective you completed (if any) on this website or in discord, and the faction table will be updated.
* Players can voluntarily rout at any time (a voluntary rout is available when warband morale goes below the rout threshold), but are prohibited from abandoning the game.
* New players can join the tournament after each cycle.
* Players will be matched up on monday morning each week. You've one week on you to play the game, after that it's a walkover. Two walkovers means that you're out of the tournament. If you can't play on a certain week or several, let us know and you won't be matched without any penalty :)
* Factions try to complete objectives in their matches. 1 completed objective of each kind levels the faction up. Levelling up gives bonuses to the faction that give a slight advantage according to the warband team rewards below:
* Hired swords rules:
- At cycle 1, you can only hire possessed, dregs, nightrunners, augurs, youngbloods and witch hunter heroes from the hired swords list.
- At cycle 2, you can also hire all leaders, including born leader skilled heroes
- At cycle 3, you can also hire all henchmen, including lad's got talent characters
- At cycle 4, you can hire anything you want from the hired swords list.
* All players in the two teams that make the final, will get 2 extra PvE before the final starts.
