Standings:
Standings are determined by overall record.
Tiebreakers:
1. Fight Difference
2. Overall Head-to-Head Results
3. Head-to-Head Fight Difference
4. Best of 9 Playoff
Regular Season Rules:
Each match shall consist of a best of 9 fights.
Each fight shall consist of a best of 9 rounds.
Home team determines stages with which to fight on for the duration of the match.
Away team must pick their character first each fight.
Mirror matches are prohibited.
Regular Season Match Rules:
All characters available for selection.
Only one character may be selected 3 times in any match.
All other characters selected may not be selected more than twice in any match.
All players must use 3 characters in each match minimum.
Only one stage may be selected 3 times in any match.
All other stages selected may not be selected more than twice in any match.
All matches must be fought on a minimum of 3 stages, of which one must not contain a danger zone.
Qualification:
The top two teams from each division advance to the playoffs.
The team with the worst record at the end of the season is relegated to Division 3.
Teams eliminated in the same round are sorted by record for final standings. All other tiebreakers apply.
Playoffs:
Double Elimination format.
Seeds determined by overall record. Tiebreaker rules applicable.
Each series shall consist of a best of 9 matches.
Each match shall consist of a best of 9 fights.
Each fight shall consist of a best of 9 rounds.
Regular Season Match Rules apply where applicable.
Higher seeds are to be considered the home team.
Each home team must play with at least 1 additional character and 1 additional stage not used in the previous match in the series.
Playoff champion is promoted to the Premier League
The league reserves the right to disqualify results and or make changes to the rules at any time without prior notice.
