Tournament played using "Mordheim: City of the Damned" on Steam platform.
As cross-play is not possible, Players on other platforms have to, unfortunately, be disqualified from joining.
Joining the Discord server for the tournament (Tournaments of Mordheim) is not optional, as all tournament messaging happens through that server. Toornament (site) account required to register into the tournament.

Assumed amount of Players: 24. Between 16 and 32
4 Qualifier teams of 6 Players each.
Followed by 2 Divisions (Upper Division and Lower Division) of 12 Players each.
Followed by Double Eliminations (All Upper Division and top 4

Players of the lower Division on the Primary Elimination race, and bottom 8 Players in the secondary Elimination race). Eliminations end with Gold Finals (winners of the two Races) and Bronze Finals (semifinalists of the two Races).

Duration of the Tournament: 22 weeks (5 for Qualifiers, 11 for Divisions, and 6 for Eliminations), not accounting for possible holiday breaks. There is a week's break between Qualifiers and Divisions, as well as between Divisions and Eliminations, to allow for some late matches.

Warbands: Each player gives their top 3 Warbands they would prefer to play as. One can choose the option "whatever" for any of the slots if one has no particular preference. Aim is to get 4 of each Warband into the tournament. Players have to inform whether they have access to Witch Hunter or Undead DLCs.

1: General rules:
1.0: Warband Rank 0 start progression Tournament with Exhibition (non-progression) PvP matches.
1.1: One PvP and three PvE Missions a week, breaks not accounted for.
1.2: Falling behind the schedule by more than a week is cause for being disqualified from the tournament, barring exceptional circumstances.
1.21: Exception: The first two weeks of the tournament, there is no option to fall behind the schedule by a week, barring specific permission from the organizer. The first two weeks are used to confirm one's presence in the tournament, and those unaccounted for are disqualified and replaced by new Players.
1.3: Each Player is allowed one (1) forfeit against an opponent, can be used at any point.
1.31: The forfeit has to be declared beforehand and not used retroactively, barring the aforementioned exceptional circumstances.
1.4: Matches against disqualified or forfeiting opponents allow one to choose between 8 tournament score or a Loss Compensation (rules below in section 6).

2: How to play:
2.0: Install ParaMod. Obviously.
2.1: Fresh Rank 0 Start Warband. The very first Mission is a PvP.
2.2: Starting Gold is limited to a thousand (1 000) Gold. If one has higher amount of starting Gold, one can buy and sell same equipment back and forth in Shop until one has at or below 1 000 Gold. One can do other purchases first, but one has to have only 1 000 Gold before starting their first PvE Mission. Screenshot of the Warband Management is required with the Gold shown.
2.3: Each PvP is followed by two (2) PvE Missions of any Difficulty.
2.4: One may use any and all Veteran Points from the start.
2.5: One may hire any Hired Swords. One can use any DLC Characters.
2.51: One can not use Lad's Got Talent Mastery Henchmen in PvP until after their last Qualifier PvP.
2.6: As ParaMod has removed the infinite XP exploit, Story Missions can be played at any point one wants, but each attempt counts towards the two PvE allowed between PvP matches.
2.7: One can use any quality of Consumables during Qualifiers, Good and Masterwork quality Consumables during Leagues, and only Masterwork Consumables during Eliminations. (edited)

2.8: Mandatory Reserves:
2.81: Reserves have to be filled, and in this order: A Leader, a Hero, four Henchmen (first at Rank 0, the rest unlock at Warband Ranks 1-3), another Leader (Warband Rank 4). The rest of the slots (5) for Heroes (Unlocked at Warband Ranks 5-10). So total of 2 Reserve Leaders, 4 Reserve Henchmen, and 6 Reserve Heroes for 12 Reserve Slots total (ParaMod has 12 Reserve Slots total instead of 8).
2.82: When playing the PvE Missions, Players have to use the Warband composition with least Ranks possible, Impressive counts twice (once for each of the two Hero Slots it occupies). See in Discussion sub-forum pinned pictures for helpful sample cases. Note that after reaching Warband Rank 5, Players can reorganize the Reserves to keep Leaders grouped up (allows one to put an Impressive into Reserves at Warband Rank 5).
2.821: Exception: 2.82 above can not force the Player to use a Henchman in a Hero Slot nor force the Player to wait for the Healing or Training Warband members to finish, only the currently available Warband members count.
2.83: Players are allowed to fire Characters at any point, as long as they: 1: are able to play their PvP match, and 2: have their Reserve Slots filled before their next progression PvE.
2.84: In PvP, Players can use any composition of Characters regardless of Rank, except for Lad's Got Talent Mastery Heroes during Qualifiers, Mandatory Reserves is only a limitation for the progression PvE.
2.9: Backing up saves: One is allowed to back up their Warband save before PvP, in case someone accidentally creates a Contest match. This back-up should not be used to undo mistakes in PvE. I am not able enforce this rule since breaking it is impossible to prove, just do not be an asshole.

3: Rules of PvP:
3.0: "All Objectives" (ParaMod feature) is set as the Objective-type in PvP Exhibition lobby.
3.1: The following Objectives define the Score given for each PvP:
+2 Points for making one's opposing Player Rout.
+3 Points for Wyrdstone Rush.
+X Points for Marked for Death, where X is equal for ALL Marks required for the Objective.
+2 Points for Crush Their Will. Note that ParaMod requires only for the enemy not have Their Idol instead of getting it into one's Cart. Keeping one's own Idol in place is still (also) required.
+3 Points for Daemonhunt (score the killing blow against the Daemon). Daemon not present during Qualifiers.
+2 Points for Gold Rush (loot and hold at least 55% of all Gold from Loot Points on the map).
3.1: After Qualifiers, in case of a desync or proven track record of previous desyncs, and if both Players agree, the Roaming Monster can be set to none, and both Players score +1 Points automatically (and further +1 Points if they have the Daemon-specific Compensation).
3.2: Score does not carry over from Qualifiers into Divisions, it is only used to influence whether one gets into Lower or Upper Division. Score carries over from Divisions into Elimination for tie-breaker purposes.

4: Rules of PvP:
Exhibition (not Contest).
Backtracking 2.
Timers: 90 seconds for both timers.
Rout: 40% Threshold.
Abandon Mission not allowed, Voluntary Rout allowed after the Character's turn on which the Rout threshold was breached (UI-use speed has no place in a turn-based tournament). Notifying the opponent about imminent use of Rout is good form, so that they are prepared to take a screenshot of the end-screen.
Roaming Monster: None (during Qualifiers), Random (roll-table, during Leagues and Elimination).
Map and Scenario: Randomized using roll-tables. Story Mission "Gameplay: None" ALWAYS.

4.1: After PvP: Winner is the Player who scored more Points total. The Player who Routed, or was wiped out, "wins" if the Points are equal. Both take a screenshot of their Victory/Defeat screen and post it in the match-result sub-forum.
4.2: Winner reports the match on Toornament.
4.3: Loser rolls once on the Compensation table (effect takes place in the next PvP).
4.4: For a loss after Qualifiers are over, the Compensation also includes an extra PvE (typically four (4) PvEs instead of three (3)).
4.2: After the match has been reported, both Players can play their PvEs in preparation of the next PvP.

5: Elimination rules:
5.1: In Elimination, the winner (Player scoring more Points in PvP) proceeds into the next PvP. The loser gets placed from Winners' Bracket into Losers' Bracket, or, if already in the Losers' Bracket, gets eliminated from the tournament.
5.11: Unlike during Qualifiers and Divisions, during Eliminations the Player who routed their enemy wins in case of a tie in Score.
5.2: After Divisions, the Players are ranked according to Division and Score (all of Upper Division followed by all of Lower Division), and gain bonus compensations according to their position and following their Double Elimination ordering.
5.21: Note that "Before the Elimination PvP X" means immediately after the previous PvP exactly as if one had lost the previous PvP.
5.22: In case of a free choice of Compensation, the Player chooses their Compensation at any point between the last and next PvP, and they may wait until just before rolling for the settings for the PvP. If both have a Free Choice, the higher scorer chooses first.
5.23: Each Free Choice of Compensation has to be different from each free Choice chosen before by the Player in question. No Compensation can be chosen twice (or more) by any Player.
5.24: Note that each compensation (random or free) comes with an extra PvE included.
5.3: Note that any exclusion of a roll of Compensation does NOT affect the normal roll due loss if such were to happen. This exclusion is just there to specify amount of Elimination-SPECIFIC bonus Compensations for each Player.
5.4: Mandatory Reserves rules (2.8 and its sub-rules) are no longer in effect during Elimination phase: one can play the PvEs with any Warband composition they prefer during Eliminations, and leave Reserve Slots empty if they so desire.

6: Loss Compensations:
6.1: Each Loss earns the loser a boost: a Random Compensation, and, after Qualifiers, an extra PvE (typically four (4) PvEs instead of three (3)).

Compensation, Map, Scenario and Daemon randomization tables omitted to save room, the tables can be found in the Discord Server.
