- RULES AND FORMAT -
This tournament will be Single Registration!
This event is run in Valorant Custom Games.
The event will run a double elimination bracket with each team playing a best of one match until winners bracket and losers bracket finals which will be best of 3.
Upon arrival, the TO will take everyone’s competitive rank.
This will allow for the most competitive & balanced teams.
The tournament will be played as a best of one Double Elimination Bracket
All games are to be played in Tournament Draft Mode, with all other settings at default.
MAPS SELECTION:
Maps will be selected at Random by the admins for all best of 1 matches. For Best of 3 matches, the higher seed will pick the map and then the loser of the game selects the next map.
FORMAT:
The tournament is played in Valorant custom games and with the tournaments feature turned on.
Using the tournament feature teams may pause during the between round timer, but must have a good reason to pause and provide this reason to Contender Staff.
Abusing the pause system may cause forfeit either in an individual round, or an entire match.
ELIMINATION:
The bracket is double elimination, a loss in the losers side of the bracket will result in elimination from the tournament.
REPORTING YOUR SCORE:
A player from each team will need to report their match and round results to a Contender staff member. This report should include the round score not just a win or loss. Example: My team won 3-2 or my team lost 1-3
CONTENDER RULES
Players will be at all times expected to respect Contender Esports Center rules and follow the instructions of staff. Any cheating, harassment or other conduct that violates store policies will be grounds for immediate disqualification and revocation or any awarded prize money. Contender reserves the right to change or alter these rules based on event attendance, time restraints, or any other issue deemed to necessitate a major change. Any changes will be disclosed to players prior to events start.
