Ion eSports 1v1 Frag Arena Tournament Rules

Maps

- Every stage of the tournament will include a single map in which all players will play on.

- All maps will be 1v1 arena maps, and will be chosen prior the start of the tournament.

Pre-Game

- Players will be given a Discord link via email, to join our Discord tournament server.

- This is where players will be given IPs to the server right before their matches

- If you fail to show up in the Discord server 5 minutes prior to your match time, you will suffer from

an automatic disqualification.

- Server IPs will be give out 10 minutes prior to the scheduled match time.

Match Rules

- Each map will last 16 rounds.

- Match rules follow standard ESL 1on1 rules including MR5 Overtime.

- THERE ARE NO PAUSES OR TIMEOUTS

- All weapons are allowed, unless limited by the current map’s design

Cheating

- Any form of cheating or illegal scripts will result in an immediate ban of the player that is cheating,

or exploiting any feature in the server or the game that allows that player/team to gain an unfair

advantage over the other team that would not otherwise exist.

- All cases of cheating will be reviewed by admins, who will make the appropriate decision based

on evidence provided or found. All decisions are made on a case by case basis and admin

decisions are finals.

Bans

- If a player is banned as a result of hacking or abusing any feature that exist that create an unfair

advantage will be automatically banned from the present tournament and be given a 6 month ban

on entering future tournaments.

Behaviour

- The use of in-game text chat must be kept appropriate and professional.

- Derogatory, racial, discriminatory, etc. slurs or phrases will not be tolerated and players who

engage in such action will be dealt with accordingly.

- Players must maintain an atmosphere of sportsmanship. While some banter is always fun, there

is a fine line that players must not cross. Admins will issue warnings if they feel as though this line

has been crossed.

- Profile names must be appropriate

- Players must keep names appropriate and what name is registered with must be kept

throughout the tournament.

- Admins will ask players to change their names if they feel as though it is unprofessional

- All players must have some version of the team logo.

- If a team disconnects from the server during gameplay and does not state why beforehand, then

the team that is still in the server will be issued with an automatic win.

- Admins will rule on these issues as they appear and their view on the situation is final.

Server

- In the case that a server is unable to be played on the following will occur

- Teams will be asked to disconnect and a restart will occur.

- The server will be switched to a different server if one is available

- If none of the options are possible then the game will be rescheduled to a later time or

date

- Players must remain on the server at all time if possible and must notify game admin(s) if/why

they are leaving and whether they will be back or if a sub is being brought on.

- If a CSGO game update occurs during a match players must remain on the server and finish out

the game

- If a player disconnects and has to update their game then game admins are not

responsible for the time needed to restore the game to the previous point due to server

restarts/updates and other issues with ebot and match medic.
