MeSA Clash Royale Rulebook

WHO CAN JOIN:
Only residents of the Philippines ages 13 and above are allowed to join. The organizers reserve the right to request winners to provide proof of residence in the event that the winner’s country of residence can not be verified.

Filipinos that are currently outside of the country are allowed to join as long as they are able to provide a valid ID (Passport) when requested by the organizer.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION:
You will receive a confirmation e-mail regarding the status of your registration within 24-48 hours with the Official Discord Channel.
Please make sure you join the Official MeSA DISCORD CHANNEL for Clash Royale.

CLAIMING OF PRIZES:
Legal Name submitted during the registration of each player will be the basis of claiming prizes. Claimants will be required to present an ID matching the legal name submitted upon registration for documentation and proof (Government Issued ID, School ID, Birth Certificate etc.). Winners will be given instructions on how to claim their prizes immediately after the conclusion of each tournament.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Best of 3
Single Elimination Bracket.
Top 8 will be a Double Elimination Bracket.
Finals: Best of 5

If more than 48 players have registered, Single Elimination Group brackets will be created along with their designated clans. Top Players from each group will advance to form the Top 8 Double Elimination Bracket.

DECK RULES:
During registration, Players register and submit screenshots of three different Battle Decks.
Each deck may not contain more than six duplicate cards. Meaning all decks should have 2 cards that are different from the other decks.

DECK ELIMINATION:
If a deck wins a game, it cannot be used for the remaining games of the match.
Players with 2 Wins in a match must have done so once with a different deck.
If a player tries to use a deck which has already won a game, he/she earns a loss for that game (but not necessarily the entire match).
In this case, his/her opponent may choose to reuse the deck used in the previous game.
Losing Player may choose to retain the same deck or change to any deck that has not won yet.

GAME ACCOUNT and LEGAL NAME:
Participants are required to submit their current In-Game Name and Personal Information (Legal Name) during registration.

CLANS AND BRACKET:
Players will be asked to join a designated clan which will be assigned before the tournament proper. Clan chat will be the main mode of communication for the duration of the tournament. Failure to respond to the marshall may result to a loss or disqualification.

If more than 48 players have registered, Single Elimination Group brackets will be created along with their designated clans. Top Players from each group will advance to form the Top 8 Double Elimination Bracket.

RULES AND TIEBREAKERS:
Players will be seeded randomly into a bracket. Each player will play one single elimination best-of-3 round at a time.
(Finals best of 5)






MATCH RULES:
Players whose names are on the top part of the bracket will initiate the match request with their opponent’s name in the details. Winner of the previous match will always initiate the battle request.

First player to win 2 games automatically wins the match. (3 games for best of 5)
Game Draws are replayed ONCE; All subsequent draws follow the Sudden Death rules.
Sudden Death game rules only apply if within a match there has already been one Draw.
Sudden Death Rules: If games end in a draw, the player with the lower single tower HP loses the game.

Any disputes regarding the matches should be forwarded and addressed to the Marshals within 10 minutes of the matches finishing. Use the Discord Channel and provide proof of claim to facilitate faster processing of disputes.



CHEATING:
Cheating and third-party tools which provide unfair advantage are disallowed and, if used, result in disqualification and temporary or permanent ban. MeSA administrators reserve the right to ban participants based off their being banned from other leagues or tournaments for cheating or unfair behavior. Account Sharing and Piloting among others.

STREAMING & SPECTATING:
MGEM holds exclusive rights to the coverage of any related matches whereas MGEM may grant rights to a third party entity.
MGEM holds the right to stream any match from the tournament.
MGEM and its staff are the only entities allowed to spectate a match.
