Given this our first, and non-professional tournament, rules evolve and we have added and amended them with feedback from you - the players.
Player Behaviour, Settings & Requirements
1. No cheats such as Strikepacks, Aimbots and Latency Switches or games styles introducing lag such as strifing
2. NO Pathfinder. NO digital scope
3. No Mic - no game. All players must have a microphone and talk to their team
4. Replacement of team members must be agreed with organisers
5. All players must be able to record and hand over the last 15m of their gameplay if requested by the observer (see Judges/Observers for more info)
6. No foul language, trash talking your opponents or un-gamesmanship behaviour
Game Format
1. All maps, weather, times, except 2000 and 2300, randomly chosen
1.1 Elimination only. No Sabotage
2. Round Robin matches with scoring on Saturday:
3. Matches have 2 Rounds played so each team gets to start once from Top/Bottom
3.1 Scores awarded per match: Win = 2, Draw = 1, Loss = 0
3.2 Tiebreakers (see below)
4. Bracket Top 4 Single Elimination Round on Sunday:
4.1 Best of 3, then Sudden Death to be deciding format
Judges/Observers
1. Games to be hosted by an observer
2. Observers will pull in captains. Captains will pull in teams to the session and a party chat
3. Captains can ask observers to HALT play if there is a technical issue such as - players frozen, shown off map - Observer can restart the game
4. All players must be able to record their gameplay. If accused of cheating by another player and the Observer also has doubts, you will be asked to turn over your video to a panel of judges:
- Failure to record will result in a forfeit for your entire team
- Failure to turn over the video will result in a forfeit for your entire team
5. If the observer has technical issue and disconnects, the teams should continue the match. Ideally if someone streams pls submit the recording to the observers and report your stats afterwards to the observer.
Tiebreakers for Round Robins:
In case the Top 4 teams are tied an automatic scoring system evaluation will be used that layers the following criteria:
1.Match wins/draws/losses
(overall | head-to-head | match losses)
The participant with the most wins, then most draws, and finally most losses (a lost match is worth more than no matches played or a forfeited match) wins the tie.
2.Head-to-head
Tiebreakers with the head-to-head scope are only taking the matches played between the tied participants in the stage into account to break a tie.
It is important to note that head-to-head tiebreakers can iterate multiple times if more than 2 participants are tied.
For example, if 3 participants are tied, each participant's results against the tied opponents are verified. If all three have different tiebreaker values, then the tie is broken. If two happen to still be tied, then a new tiebreaker is calculated, for these two participants only.

If still tied after the system has calculated the tiebreaks, the observers might ask the tied teams to participate in a Best of Round either Saturday or Sunday before the beginning of the last stage

MATCH Readiness & Streaming
-Can all Captains pls ensure their team is online before 6pm and ready in Erewhon.
- Once your team is online pls confirm that to Sturm on Discord so that we can check you in at the Toornament Website.
-Those streaming pls start your live stream when you log in and send your live stream link to Andrew4X or Sturm on Discord, we might use it for the live stream channel.
-The Observer pulls the Captains who then bring in the team.
-The Observer will setup a party chat with the captains who pull in the team.
-The Observer will quickly go over the rules before match start.
-Captains should ensure they have setup a DM chat with the Observer on Discord so that they can inform the Observer in case of technical issues.
