------Rules------

In the essence of time...

Show up 10 Minutes before your group play or bracket match and report in to tournament admins.

** Attendance Guidelines/Scheduling **

Group play will be scheduled on EDT. The tournament starts June 6th. A pilot briefing will occur at 6:00PM CT May 30th to go over rules and guidelines and how the matches will be conducted. The group play times will be posted before that meeting.

A team may miss one drop throughout the tournament due to an emergency.

The opposing team, the admin and missing team must agree to the re-schedule or it is a forfeit by the requesting team.

Once the emergency drop is used, any other drops missed are a forfeit.

All pilots have real life schedules and make time to play. If everyone shows up each round takes 45 minutes. If you have a conflict, communicate it earlier in the week. Re-schedules the "day of" will be less likely to be accepted.

This update ensures all teams have the same amount of time to prepare for opponents.

** Lobby rules **

Top team listed for a match on toornament is team 1. (Left Side in Matches)
Team 1 chooses their lance and mechs first and locks their lance.
Team 2 then chooses their lance and mechs and locks.
Both teams have a 2 minutes to do so with the referee notifying teams of times.
Automatic forfeit if too much time is taken.

***Disconnects/heatbug/glitches***

In the first 30 seconds of play, before a point has been capped or a mech is destroyed, a team may call 'hold' due to a problem. The disconnect is given 1/2 minutes to reconnect or an immediate redrop is called in the case of heatbug or other in game glitches. A redrop cannot be re-dropped.'

Any other inquiries can be discussed after the match between the participants. If both sides agree to a rematch, that will be played immediately or on a scheduled weekday.

------Stage 1 Round Robin Group Rules------

The groups have been broken out into two divisions (A and B) in order to keep the tournament competitive, and timely fun for everyone.

Division A-2 and Division B-1 will start at 4PM EST.

Division A-1 and Division B-2 will start approximately at 5:30PM EST.

No Lock-on Weapons (Streaks, ATM, LRMs)
10 Minute Time Limit
There are maps and weight restrictions per Round (1-4) - Light, Medium, Heavy, Assault
No faction restrictions
You cannot underton (run a light in the medium round)
All Consumables may be used
Mech chassis cannot be duplicated on the team once used.
Mech chassis cannot be duplicated on a team in a single match during round robin group play.

Conquest will be "Theta" point only, no other points may be taken. (Except for Forest Colony Classic-Kappa)

**Clarification, incorporating TOC rule format here**

If the wrong point is captured by a team within the first 30 seconds of game time and before a `Mech is destroyed a redrop may be called by that team. This procedure is the same and linked to the disconnect procedure.

If a team captures the wrong point after 30 seconds of in-game match time that team must kill the 2 enemy ‘Mechs and achieve resource victory to win the drop.

If two wrong points are captured by a team while there is still an enemy ‘Mech alive then the match is deemed a loss for the offending team (‘Mech kill points still count). The match is still played out until it ends, but is always a loss regardless of ‘Mechs destroyed or resource victory for the offending team.

Once all enemy ‘Mechs have been destroyed in a game the remaining team may cap all 5 points to achieve a resource victory.

**Example**

You cannot run 2 Wolfhounds on a team in a match.
You can run a Wolfhound and an Urbie, but once they used, you cannot run them again during that round of group play.

Scoring:
2 Points for Win (All Mechs Destroyed)
1 Point for Draw
1 Point per Mech Destroyed
1 Point for Objective Win (If Applicable on Map)

------Stage 2 Finals------

**UPDATE**

Top 2 teams advances from each group.

All rounds will be Best of 5 and be a 4 team bracket per division. There are (2) divisions A and B.

The finals are all open play with a 150 Ton Team Limit

Cannot use the same mech chassis twice in the Bo5 Round.

Each match will have a draft map/mode selection phase

The team with the higher seed in group play will eliminate the first map and it will alternate from there until the map is selected.

------Cheating------

No cheating. No exploits, No Illegal Substitutions.
If a player is suspected of cheating, it will be tournament admins judgement to either DQ the pilots for the current tournament and/or ban them from future events. In addition, for HHoD members the CoC applies here.

------Roster, Team Creation------

A team consists of 2 Pilots.
Must be signed up between 5/13-5/30
Team Names must follow HHoD Code of Conduct (No Foul Language)

------Substitutions------

For any reason that someone might need a substitute. They can add an alternate to their roster. This member must not be participating in the tournament already.
