Game Rules
DOTA 2
Game mode : 5v5 Captain’s Mode
Game format : Round Robin
Group Stage: BO1
Semifinals: BO3
Finals: BO3
*If a tie occurs, winner will be determined by the shortest time
Victory : Victory is decided by breaking the opponent’s Ancient or opponent calling GG and cannot cancel.
Ban/Pick priority
Best-of-1 stages:
Coin flip to determine the ban/pick priority. Winner of the coin flip to decide on side or first ban.
Best-of-2 stages:
Coin flip to determine the ban/pick priority. Winner of the coin flip to decide on side or first ban.
Best-of-3 stages:
Coin flip to determine the ban/pick priority. Winner of the coin flip to decide on side or first ban.
In the second game of the series, the loser of the first game to decide on side or first ban.
In the third game of the series (if applicable), the loser of the second game to decide on side or first ban.
Game rules:
The following is allowed : shared unit control, denying teammates, no item restrictions, no backdoor protection rules.
Any item that is allowed to be shared in the game can be shared, but not to be sold.
At the start of the game, should any player but the drafter on both sides experience disconnection from the game, he/she should attempt to reconnect while the draft phase continues.
1 Coach is allowed during drafting phase.
Should the drafter disconnect during the draft phase and no reconnection is possible, the lobby should be remade with the same bans and picks at the same sequence.
Should there be any disconnections or unforeseen technical issues during the game, both teams have two (2) mandatory pauses that can be used, provided that an admin was notified prior to the pause by typing “P” in all-chat, and providing reason for the pause.
If at any point of the match should a player face hardware-related issues and causing the game to not be playable, the player should contact an admin immediately to be advised on the next course of action.
Blockage of creep equilibrium by using skills are not allowed ( Example : Nature Prophet’s Sprout to lock creeps, Earthshaker’s Fissure to block creeps. )
Tiebreaker:
If there are 2 or more teams with same scores, the ranking of will be determine by following criteria :
i) The total shortest winning game time
ii) Total kills
If ranking could not be determined by both criteria, an extra bo1 match will be played to determine the ranking.
