PLAYERS AND TEAMS

⍄》ELIGIBILITY
⍆Any PC player located in North America can participate in the league. There are no age requirements for the league.

⍄》CONNECTION
⍆All players must maintain an average ping lower than 100ms during the game. If this rule is not followed, the player must either
- Resolve the issue in 10 minutes, using a pause/RH which will cost the team breaking the ping rule their pause/RH.
- Be subbed out for a player that follows the ping rules.
If none of these resolve the issue, the opposing team will be awarded the victory.

⍄》ROSTER
⍆The roster must consist of at least 5 players. These players MUST be on the Toornament roster when the roster is submitted. Up to 2 subs are allowed. Roster changes are allowed throughout the season, but we will hold a 3/5ths rule, in which at any point a roster has less than 3 of the original players that entered the league at the beginning, the team will be disqualified from the league.

⍄》EXPLOITS
⍆Any glitch, bug, or exploit that gives a team or player a distinct advantage is prohibited. If a team is found to be using a glitch then the round will be played out until an admin makes a decision.

⍄》MOSS
⍆All players are expected to run moss (can be found at nohope.eu). If a player cannot run moss they need to contact and work with a league administrator to fix the issue. All teams must submit all of their moss files from the game within 30 minutes of the match finishing. If a player and/or team fails to submit one or more MOSS file, said team will forfeit the match, and the opposing team would receive a 1-0 victory.

⍆Map bans will be done 30 minutes before games between the two team captains with an admin present..

⍄》REHOST/PAUSES
⍆Guidelines
⋗Tactical timeouts are pauses to have a conversation between the team members. Tactical timeouts will not be questioned and will be given to the team under any circumstance. Maximum duration for a tactical timeout is 2 minutes. Each team has 1 Tactical Timeout per map.
⋗Technical timeouts are a timeout to fix a technical issue from a player. This includes disconnects/crashes, etc. Technical timeouts may not be taken if all players are still in the lobby. Maximum duration for a technical timeout is 5 minutes.
⋗The game must be continued within 10 minutes of a rehost, unless administration intervention is required. If a disconnected player cannot rejoin within 10 minutes of a rehost, the game will continue as a 4v5 for the duration of a map.

⋗Teams may not use a rehost to change players present in the game (1 map). If under unfortunate circumstances a player has left the lobby and is unable to rejoin back due to unforeseen roadblocks, the team is encouraged to keep playing in a group of four players. Forfeits are not advised by the PAL Administration team.
⋗If a rehost happens during prep phase or action phase, the rehosted round must have the exact same site picked, unless it violates game rules.
⋗Teams are allowed to use their timeout for a player to remove a banned cosmetic item and allow a player to reconnect to the game.
⋗Timeouts are not limited when a game-breaking bug has occurred. (Soundbug, stuck in the map, etc.)

⍄》FORFEITS
⍆Forfeits may be given out or be declared by a Team Captain/Representative.
⋗Round Forfeits Round forfeits can be handed out by Administrative Officers, cause of these forfeits can include but not limited to, Cosmetic Violation, illegal spawn peeks, Intentional glitches, and/or running a banned operator.
⋗Match Forfeit Match forfeits can be handed out by Administrative Officers, cause of these forfeits can include but not limited to, being 15 min late to a match, late anticheat submission, continuous high ping, and/or the sharing of others anti-cheat.

⍄》SPAWNPEEKS/RUNOUTS
⍆Spawn peeking/running out: Spawn peeking is allowed 3 seconds after prep phase, however, you cannot run into the enemy’s spawn.

⍄》COSMETICS
⍆Banned Skins: All skins are banned except for:
⋗Default Skins
⋗Esports Skins
⋗Pro League Sets
⋗Pilot Program
⋗All future esports and pro league sets
Punishments: The player must be team killed if any of the above skins are used. Failure to do so before the player using the banned skin makes an impact on the round the opposing team will receive an extra round win.

⍄》TOXICITY
⍆Toxicity isn’t accepted in any way, shape, or form. However, there is a difference between banter and toxicity. Toxicity is bannable but we will have a warning system in place. No bans will be issued immediately for toxicity unless the toxicity crosses a line. This line doesn’t need to be described. If you have to ask if you can say it, just don’t say it.
