CHAPTER 1: PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
ARTICLE 1.1: AGE LIMITATION

A Player must be 16 years old to be eligible to qualify and participate at ESWC 2017 India Final. A player cannot qualify for ESWC India Final by entering an online qualifier tournament if not respecting the above age limitation. A Player under 18 years old and qualified for ESWC Paris Games Week 2017 Final will have to provide a parental authorization in order to enter the tournament. The parental authorization is available at http://www.eswc.com/public/files/eswc-gamescom-2017/parental-consent_clash-royale.pdf.

ARTICLE 1.2: BANNED PLAYER
A player with a game account currently banned in ESWC or any tournament organized by NODWIN Gaming cannot participate in an online or offline qualifier or its final. A player banned by a game editor or studio for any reason cannot participate in an online or offline qualifier or its final.

ARTICLE 1.3: QUALIFIED PLAYER REPLACEMENT
If a qualified player for ESWC PGW 2017 Final cancels his participation, the player will be replaced by the next highest finishing player from the India Finals, if possible without playing additional matches between players with the same ranking. If a qualified player for ESWC India 2017 Final cancels his participation, the player will be replaced by the next highest finishing player from his online qualifier, if possible without playing additional matches between players with the same ranking. The ESWC Organizing Committee & NODWIN Gaming can decide to replace a canceled player by another one contacted directly by the ESWC Organizing Committee.

CHAPTER 2: TOURNAMENT GAME SETTINGS
ARTICLE 2.1: GAME VERSION
The tournament will be played under the current Clash Royale tournament level caps.

ARTICLE 2.2: FORBIDDEN CARD
Any card released seven (7) days before the first day of the tournament won't be allowed.

ARTICLE 2.3: GAME ACCOUNT
Participants must use their in-game nickname and account ID with which they registered for the final on Toornament.com. Under no circumstances can any participant play on the account of another participant, doing so will result in disqualification from the tournament.

ARTICLE 2.4: GAME SETTINGS
The tournament will use the standard in-game "Tournament" settings for each game:
• King level cap: 9
• Common level cap: 9
• Rare level cap: 7
• Epic level cap: 4
• Legendary level cap: 1
• Overtime length: 3min

CHAPTER 3: BEFORE MATCH
ARTICLE 3.1: MATCH START TIME
The match start time indicates the time when the match begins. Therefore, the player is advised to be present at least 10 minutes before its match start time to contact the opponent player via Facebook and start match on time. Players are invited to be up to date with the tournament schedule. Maximum waiting time beyond scheduled match time by organizer is 15 minutes. If a player arrives 15 minutes late to its match he will lose the entire match on basis of late show.
ARTICLE 3.2: SETUP AND WARMUP
Players are responsible to be ready beforehand with all requirements on their end in order to play the tournament matches on scheduled time. Tournament referee may possibly help the player with technical issues but may not delay the tournament schedule for such reasons.
ARTICLE 3.3: CONNECT TO YOUR OPPONENT
Players can connect with their opponent using the opponent’s Facebook id available on tournament.com and start match on scheduled time.

1. Contact opponent and send match request using facebook or match page.
2. Wait your opponent to accept it to start your match
3. Play your match

CHAPTER 4: DURING & AFTER MATCH
ARTICLE 4.1: GAME INTERRUPTION
If a player disconnects in the middle of a battle at any time, the outcome of the battle will stand (i.e: if you reconnect and lose, you lose, if you reconnect and win, you win). If a player suffers a disconnection or more, both players can agree to replay the game, or not. The admin have to be called by one of the participants (most of the time, the loser) to proceed with the replay request. If both players then agree to replay a game, the previous gameresult is cancelled for good.

ARTICLE 4.2: INVESTIGATION REQUEST
When a player estimates being a victim of rules violations during a match, players are compelled not to stop the game by any means and to properly finish it. Once the match is over, the player may officially ask for an investigation to the tournament officials. It is strongly advised to provide valuable information that may help the tournament director in his investigation. Unjustified and repetitive use of this right may be sanctioned. Please email your request for investigation to [email protected] with adequate proofs. All investigation requests have to be done before 8 hours of scheduled match time.

ARTICLE 4.3: SCORE VALIDATION
For a match both players have to report the match score by updating the score on their respective match page.

ARTICLE 4.4: INTERVIEWS & WINNERS CONEFERENCE
Player cannot refuse to participate in an ESWC India Interviews or conference or media partner request or signing sessions organized by NODWIN Gaming.

CHAPTER 5: TOURNAMENT FORMAT
ARTICLE 5.1: FORMAT OVERVIEW
ESWC India 2017 Qualifier consists of three stages:

- Thursday, September, 28th to Saturday, September, 30th: Knockout Tournament between 256 participants
• BO3 (see article 7.6)

- Monday, October, 2nd: Group Stage/ Round Robin between top 4 participants from qualifier
• BO3 (see article 7.6)

- Monday, October, 2nd: Grand Finals between top 2 participants from group stage
• BO5 (see article 7.4)

ARTICLE 5.2: ROUND ROBIN RULES
- 1 groups of 4 players, 3 matches per player (everybody play everybody into the group)
- Victory = 3 points / Defeat = 0

If two players are tied:
1. Match score difference (head to head), most difference score with opponent obtained only from the match between the two tied participants
e.g: player A won his match against player B, player A is ranked above

If more than two players are tied :
1. Match point difference (head to head), higher number of points obtained in round-robin from matches between the tied participants;
e.g: player A has 6 points, player B has 3 points, player C has 0 point. Player A is ranked above B and C, player B is ranked above C;
2. Match score difference (head to head), higher score difference (and not the number of towers destroyed) obtained in the round-robin from matches between the tied participants;
e.g: player A has a score difference of +2, player B has a score difference of +1, player C has a score difference of -1. Player A is ranked above B and C, player B is ranked above C.
3. Match score difference (overall), higher score difference (and not the number of towers destroyed) from all round-robin matches;
e.g: player A has a score difference of +7, player B has a score difference of +4, player C has a score difference of +2. Player A is ranked above B and C, player B is ranked above C.
4. If two or more players are still tied a new match in best-of-three format is played between them.

ARTICLE 5.3: TRANSITION BETWEEN ROUND ROBIN AND GRAND FINALS
- Top 2 of each group proceed further to Grand Finals

ARTICLE 5.4: BEST OF FIVE MATCH
A best of five match is played in three, four or five games and is used during the knockout qualifier as well as group stage of the tournament. In case of a draw, the player with the highest total hitpoints left on his buildings, win. In case of a perfect draw, same total hitpoints on both sides, the match has to be played again with the exact same decks.

ARTICLE 5.5: BEST OF THREE MATCH
A best of three match is played in two or three games and is used during the four first round of the loser bracket play-off stage of the tournament. In case of a draw, the player with the highest total hitpoints left on his buildings, win. In case of a perfect draw, same total hitpoints on both sides, the match has to be played again with the exact same decks.

Thursday, September, 28th
Round 1 – 256 Participants
• 8:00 pm – Match timing is fixed and cannot be changed.

Friday, September, 29th
Round 2 – 128 Participants
• 8 pm – Match timing is fixed.

Saturday, September, 30th
Round 3 – 64 Participants
• 1:00 pm – Match timing is fixed.

Round 4 – 32 Participants
• 4:00 pm – Match timing is fixed.

Round 5 – 16 Participants
• 7:00 pm – Match timing is fixed.

Round 6 – 8 Participants (4 Participants qualify to Group Stage)
• 8:30 pm – Match timing is fixed.

Monday, October, 2nd
Group Stage – 4 Participants
• 6:00 pm – Match 1
• 6:20 pm – Match 2
• 6.40 pm – Match 3
• 7.00 pm – Match 4
• 7:20 pm – Match 5
• 7:40 pm – Match 6
• 8:20 pm – Grand Final

CHAPTER 6: PROHIBITED ITEMS
ARTICLE 6.1: PROHIBITED SOFTWARE
It is strictly prohibited for a player to use any software modifying the game functionalities, principles or graphical render. If the presence or use of a prohibited software is detected, the concerned player will be banished of any current and future ESWC tournaments and the cash prize earned if any will be cancelled.

ARTICLE 6.2: ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES CONSUMPTION
It is strictly prohibited for a player to consume any kind of performance enhancing drugs or other substances which help him improve his game in any sort.

Depending on the degree, repetition and the final analysis, NODWIN Gaming as the regulations committee may apply additional sanctions such as banishment of future ESWC tournament and league, removal of all cash prize and award, or legal proceedings in case of not following tournament rules & regulations or bad conduct.
