Box Golf is a game of patience, pressure, and territory, in which players must take turns hitting a cube once each, trying to get the cube into an awkward position for their opponent and giving yourself a good spot to score from.

Objective: Take turns hitting the cube back and forth once each. First to 3 goals wins.
Rules:
If the cube lands in your side after kickoff, you get the first hit.
When defending, you must return to your own box. As in, the big colored rectangle around your goal.
(You may aerial out of your box and hit the cube, but the aerial must start from within your box.)
A penalty results in the other playing getting a free penalty shot on goal (that cannot be blocked or saved by the defending player).

Penalty conditions:
Hitting the ball twice in a row without your opponent touching it - accidental or otherwise.
Failing to clear the cube from your box on your turn.
(e.g. you go for a save, but your touch results in the cube landing inside your box)
Not hitting the ball on kickoff. You must go for kickoffs.
Blocking or saving the cube on a penalty shot gives your opponent a free goal AND a free shot on the next kickoff.

Extra notes:
You don't have to wait for the cube to stop moving to hit it unless it is a "free penalty shot" from your opponent.
You don't have to wait for your opponent to get back to their box to make your shot, feel free to rush the cube to catch your opponent out of position.
It's easiest to play on a standard map like Mannfield where the players boxes are clearly marked.
A lot of funny stuff can happen on this game mode, so being on comms together is recommended.
