MATCH RULES:
Players whose names are on the top part of the bracket will initiate the match request with their opponent’s name in the details. Winner of the previous match will always initiate the battle request.
Only standard decks will be allowed in the tournament. If in case a player submits a wild format deck, he/she will immediately be disqualified from the tournament.
Conquest format will be used. Before beginning a match each player will ban a class from the opponent’s list via their Toornament Match Page. When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of the match. The losing player can opt to use the same deck or switch to another deck that has yet to win.
After the players have added their opponent to their b.net friends list, one player will challenge the other. Once the challenge has been accepted by both players, it may not be cancelled for any reason unless authorized by a tournament administrator.
Once the starting hands are provided by the Hearthstone game client, if a player disconnects/leaves the match lobby or cancels the “game challenge,” or leaves the Hearthstone game client for any reason, the opponent will be given the rights to take the win on that game or grant a rematch with the same decks.
Similarly, after the first match of the round is concluded, if a player leaves the challenge screen for any reason the opposing player may select a deck with his or hers remaining classes to take a forfeit win.
In the event of a client crash, a tournament administrator should be contacted immediately to assess the situation and issue a decision, try to take a screenshot of the any incident arises within the game.
