Zasady
Schedule and Timing
Pool
• The Pool phase will start on April 11th, 2016 and should be completed on April 29th, 2016.

Bracket
• The first 2 bracket rounds will be played in the week of May 9th, 2016 and semi-finals will be played in the week of May 16th, 2016.

Finals
• Finals will be played in the week of May 23rd, 2016. The matches are played in the late afternoon, at around 5PM. The date should be confirmed when we will enter the Bracket phase.

Scheduling matches
• Each team will have to play 1-2 games per week.
• Admins will send at the beginning of every week the schedule for the upcoming week.
• Admins will book meeting rooms 2 to 3 times per week, for 1 hour, during lunchtimes. Exceptionally, some meeting rooms can be booked on the evening if necessary.
• Up to 3 games can be played per play session. The admins will set the times of each match per play session.

Re-scheduling
• If a team can’t play a scheduled match, they have the possibility to re-schedule another day. Admins must be advised if this occurs.
• All deadlines are assumed to be Monday, 01:00 PM, of each week, which means each scheduled games have to be played before this deadline.
• All matches must take place outside of work hours: Lunch time is a priority (evenings are also available).
• In case of re-schedule, team captains may coordinate a different match time:
· The time must accommodate the players.
· Failure to show up for a scheduled match (after 15 min) will result in a warning and/or an automatic loss, or a re-schedule.
• All matches schedule date and time should be informed to administrators.

• Game type: Unranked
• Private Game: Yes
• Period Length: 5 minutes
• Rules: NHL
• Game Style: Simulation
• Injuries: On
• Fighting: On
• Penalties: On
• Offside: Delayed
• Icing: Hybrid Icing
• Tiebreak: 5min, 4on4, then shootout
• Controls: Any
• Team Level:
o Any regular NHL team can be selected. Both player teams may select the same NHL team.
o International teams or fictional teams (such as All-Star teams) are prohibited.

Tournament Structure
Pool Phase
• The teams will be separated into groups of minimum 4 teams.
• Each team will play against all the other teams of the group.
• Matches are played in a best-of-one series.
• Top 6 seeds of each pool will move on to the Bracket phase.

Bracket Phase
• Teams will be seeded against teams from different pool groups.
• Matches are played in a best-of-three series.
• Teams that lose a match in the bracket phase are eliminated (Single Elimination).

Finals
• Matches are played in a best-of-3 series.
• Date will be announced during bracket phase.

Teams
• Teams are made up of 2 members. It is up to the team captain to manage players.
• Teams must be fully registered on the website by April 1st. 2016.

Captain
• Each team will have a captain that will be the center piece for the communication. Most of the communications that the admins will do will be sent to the Captains. Match scheduling will pass by the captains. It will be the responsibility of the captain to broadcast the information or ask for availability to his team.

Match Results
• Admins should be present during play and will record the match results.
• When a match is concluded with no Admin present, the captain of the winner’s team must send a mail to UGL-S3-NHL ([email protected]) with the captain of the other team in CC. This mail should contain the winning team’s name and a screenshot of the score screen. All results must be sent before the next Monday, 1 PM, following the announcement of the Round. If the result is not send before this date, no point will be assign to the teams. The admin will make sure to send a confirmation that the score was received.

Disputes
• In the event that either team has a dispute about the match, the team captain should now submit that dispute to UGL-S3-NHL ([email protected]).
