Regarding CHEATING, we had some complaints in the previous tournaments about some players.
We then took some decisions to avoid this in the future and be able to detect and ban the cheaters by setting an HLTV on every Potos Server.
Important – for you to do :
- It’s your responsability to make sure the hltv is recording before every match, and stop it when it’s finished.
- Please check the channel #hltv-server-cfg to know how to do this yourself
- If you cannot do it yourself, dont’ hesitate to end a message to @Giant.be when it needs to be started and stopped, and he’ll do it for you.
What if you suspect a cheater ?
- Please send us afterwards the match concerned, the player, the round when it was pretty obvious and we’ll have a look at it.
As you can understand, we cannot afford watching 30 minutes of a match for each player, so please report someone when you really think the player is cheating, not just for 1 wallbang.
If you have time, you can of course help us by asking the hltv and watch it a first time yourself to know if you took a missed bullet or if it as cheating ;)
