1st South America Quake Cup

Règles du tournoi

Single Elimination with first two rounds played in Best of 3. Semi-finals and Finals in Best of 5.

Rounds:
All matches will be played on - 19th of January (after Quake Pro League)
1st match starting at 6 PM - Brasilia Time. (UTC/GMT -3 hours)

(10 mins tolerance)

No shows = Forfeit

Server Settings:
Frag Limit: 50 Frags
Time Limit: 10 Minutes

Disconnects:
If a player disconnects involuntarily or gets disconnected in the middle of a map, the map will immediately stop and be returned to the lobby. The current score line will be recorded and carry over to the map restart. The fraglimit will be manually calculated to the map restart. If it is determined that the player who disconnected in the middle of the map did so to gain any advantage, that team will forfeit the map.

Picks and Bans rules:

Best of 3:
1) Flip a coin – winner becomes the higher seed (https://justflipacoin.com)
2) Lower seed bans the first Champion from the match (Neither team can choose this Champion for all maps)
3) Higher seed bans the first Champion from the match (Neither team can choose this Champion for all maps)
4) Higher seed chooses the first map to be played in the set.
5) Lower seed chooses the second map to be played in the set.
6) Higher seed removes a map from the remaining five maps.
7) Lower seed removes a map from the remaining four maps.
8) Higher seed removes a map from the remaining three maps.
9) Lower seed removes a map from the remaining two maps.
10) Final map left in the pool is the third map in the set.

You MUST play from South America in order to participate in this tournament.

The SA CUP will only begin with 16 players. If we don't have enough players, it will be postponed for January.
