Five European teams
One Asia-Pacific team
Four team qualifying from the open bracket.
Four pools of five teams (all matches will be best-of-five).
The top two teams from each group will be placed in round one of the championship winners bracket.
The third-place team from each group will be placed in round three of the championship losers bracket.
The fourth-place team from each group will be placed in round two of the championship losers bracket.
The fifth-place team from each group will be placed in round one of the championship losers bracket.
