Description
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid found in 1940 in the United States. It is only one of about 113 known phytocannabenosides in cannabis plants. The other most common forms are cannabinol (which is the main psychoactive component of cannabis) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Both of these phytocannabenosides are associated with the ability of the cannabis plant to produce a euphoric "high."
